I do root for UK. But I was raised in Ohio and live one mile from the Ohio Rive and less than 2 miles from the Anderson Ferry across the Ohio into Cincinnati. I'm a Greater Cincinnatian, working in downtown Cinci and living almost as close to it as I do to Florence Mall. In fact, the closest major landmark (recognized outside the area) to me is The Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky International Airport. Of course, it is in Hebron, my hometown for the last four years since moving to KY from OH.

Oh, and my niece graduated form OSU. And so I say again...

@LJ - UC sucked that game. They looked like a bunch of amateurs. Had their head coach not ditched them and they had a real coach at the helm, things might have been different, though.

@ Eagle - First of all, did you not notice my exception to Michigan's dominance of you when under the control of a backwoods hich head coach and dumb-as-a-rock, senile Athletic Director? Secondly, no, moron it doesn't. You may have the syllables right but that doesn't mean it works. Also, on an unrelated note, which team is it again that has the most wins of all time, AND the highest winning percentage?


@ Draugnar - I feel you on the head coach situation. Our dipshit AD has refused to fire the guy who's lead Michigan to a) their season with the worst record for any Michigan team ever and b) their season with Michigan's worst Big Ten Record of all time, and the teams played almost 130 seasons. Hope your next coach does well for you, and Brian Kelly chokes horribly at Notre Dame.

Worst season ever? Michigan went 1-7 in 1934 and 36 and 2-7 in 1962 which are both worse than 2008's 3-9 record. (0-6 and 0-5 in conference in 34 and 36 respectively.) Worst record in a really long time sure, but not ever.

LJ, I realize you're upset at Michigan's recent lack of competitiveness (holy shit, that was more than three syllables, but I digress), but that is no reason to take it out on OSU. I'm sure we would never do that to the Wolverines, even if they are more like puppy dogs at the moment. Plus, it's not like Lloyd was having a lot of success against Tressel either.

Real question here: How much longer do you think they give Mr. Backwoods before showing him the door; and who do you try to bring in next? OSU is probably going to own them for another 2-3 years (though upsets can happen in rivalry games). What will you do once they even the overall records - which by the way is pretty even over the last half century - are no longer in Wolvies favor?

I was dissapointed with Cincinnati. I was hoping for at least a close game.

I hate OSU with a passion, but it's about time they won a bowl game (only because they didn't play a SEC team).

this bowl season has been disappointing for me (at least the games I have any interest in). Lets see, LSU, Oregon, Tennessee, and Cincinnati lost. Arkansas won (er...ECU gave the game away on multiple occasions), FSU won, and Auburn won. Now, hopefully Alabama can put Texas away.

My Buckeyes AND my Huskers both won their bowl games, friggin' miracle... now I'm just hoping Bama leaves Texas in the dust.
