no? The chance of four players redrawing the same countries are something like 1/300, that's not figuring in the code's weighting to give you different countries, the strange business with the switched countries being the ones which had been eliminated, or the fact that this makes three in a row for me as Austria.
It is possible that this is just chance, but I think it's sufficiently strange that someone should look at it.

as long as it is only once in a while then it doesn't matter, if your league agrees to cancelgame 3 you can probably start another one with randomly asigned countries, and if they all come out the same again then it might merit some attension.

Ill look into this if I get a chance, but eliminating the possibility of this sort of thing happening would require a deterministic algorithm, which would be against the rules

We've had the same guy draw England three times in a row , in our League. Could be worse than Austria or England - could be Italy, three times in a row!! :=

Of course, unlikely things must happen on occasion, this just looked really strange to me, so I thought I should say something.
It looks like we will be canceling and trying again.

Keep in mind that while he drew England three times in a row in the league doesn't mean he drew England three times in a row. If he plays a bunch of other games (especially live games) then his chance of being England may have shot back up in the couple of weeks between the start of league games.

This is like flipping a coin 500 times in a row. There will be stretches where it comes up heads a dozen times in a row. It doesn't mean there is something faulty with the penny. Things like this are bound to happen once in a while with as many games going on as there are.

No voting system, yet? Is it completely out of the question, or what? I'm REALLY tempted to d/l the code and toss one in there (though I'm no PHP developer, I'm guessing I can probably pick it up, quick).

Kestas has made a ton of advancements to the site all Summer. Voting just isn't as high on the list as other things. It's sounded to me like the live game support has required a lot of behind the scenes changes to properly support, not just a quick change to how long the phase length can be.

My personal favorite way of choosing is random but each player draws their country one at a time and that player can choose once to refuse that country and redraw from the remaining countries. Once the player has accepted the first country or refused it and gotten the second country, then it's the next player's turn.
