I tried to give Germany all my SC once Italy broke through as revenge against Italy/Austria but it seems it was for naught mostly. And yeah, talk about reeeeeeally wanting to attack France after I leave him alone after his NMR...

I already explained my reasoning in Global chat... You either agree with it, or you don't. I see no reason for you to try to publicly humiliate me. But, since you've brought it here, I'll try to defend myself here:

I think that if you can't win, you should play to minimize the draw. Not out of "greediness" as you seem to suggest (you really think I give a fuck about 7 more points), but simply because... I think that's the point of the game. When I saw that I was stalemated, I tried to do my best to communicate to you that I would hang back if you took out Italy. I held out hope for as long as I did not in the hopes of having someone NMR, but because it seemed to me that by not hitting Italy you were being at least as stubborn as I was. Either that, or you weren't sufficiently reassured that I would be unable to capitalize on Italy throwing you the game in retaliation for stabbing him. So I shuffled my units away from Italy, and finally you, as best as I could, in the hopes that you'd change your tune.

Yes, Italy's early game sucked so much that I was genuinely surprised and relieved when he made the right moves for a draw.

Usually YHN abandons games in the middle and disappears so you are at least lucky he stuck around.

No means no. After the second year, your actions became pure sabotage. It wouldn't be the least bit strange if Italy, England or me left in desperation.

I'd introduce a penalty of a few hundred points for such behavior. Next time, you'd think twice before pulling a stunt like that.

I could have brought the game to an end by hitting draw. You could have brought the game to an end by attacking Italy. I was honestly under the impression that you were deterred from attacking Italy chiefly because you thought I'd be able to exploit the disruption of the stalemate line and win- I thought that your continued refusal to attack Italy was due to an inadequate effort on my part to position myself such that you would be reassured I wouldn't win. So I kept revising my position, hoping you'd be convinced. I wasn't trying to drag things out- I minimized my troop movements and hit Ready as quickly as I could. I agree that I should have gotten the message that you weren't budging sooner than I did, but I don't think my denseness was so egregious as you make it out to be.

Valis, you were just unlucky. There's no way anyone would have survived a three-side attack. No advice for you today :P
