I don't understand what you are trying to argue. Remember, intervention began in September of 2014 in Syria as a joint operation against ISIS and Al-Nusra. That is why we intervened in the first place. National defense has been the heart of the matter.

The English crown? I think you mean British Crown, at least, and why not? It is a oretty effective corporation, and it's CEO also holds the position of head of church.

I would have thought Republicans would be all for it, no seperation of church and state, all power to a single corporation, sure that is where Trump is bring the country anyhow, if he can get his way...

Are you even following events? The Trump administration has adopted positions that are very antagonistic towards Russian objectives, particularly in Ukraine and Syria. The notion that the Trump administration is in bed with the Russian government is utter nonsense.

After a very expensive hissy fit against the Syrian airport that didn't even put it out of use, Trump has lost his attention on doing anything there except cooperate against ISIS. The Ukraine has been all talk and the Russians still are toppling the elected government.

Meanwhile Trump let Tass be the sole news agency inside the White House to cover the Russian meeting. Trump told the Russians that firing that nut Comey took pressure off him. Further disclosures of Russian spies meeting with Trump people.

Your position makes no sense whatsoever. The Obama administration was doing far more to try to overthrow the Assad regime than Trump has. We were spending more in Syria before Trump took office than we are now.
