And the stalemate line is almost set. What I did *not* say when Ghost pointed out my earlier error was that France and England would have been COMPLETE MORONS to do anything except what they did. If England did *not* pull out then the French fleet would have faced disbanding.

It was a pretty slick move, convoying from Sweden to STP, which leaves the English fleets both free to move into the Baltic area even if the German fleet is forced to disband. I suspect we'll see Russia go against the wall now, since the West is too busy huddling to take advantage of the situation. I also suspect that if the Med does *not* break through in the western Med are this round that Italy may be going against the wall as well.

Or it could end up as a seven way draw. Stranger things have happened, and some of the players may think the most dick move they can play is to screw everyone's Ghost rating to hell. It would be ironic, but also amusing in a way.

It's not screwing over the weaker players' G-Ratings, only the G-Ratings of players who are capable of playing the normal game decently.

And yet, those players capable of 'decent play' are just as stalemated as everyone else ;)

Never fucking happen. Turkey and Austria are too intertwined and Italy would have to take units off the front line letting France consume him and Russia is in no position to even think about it with just three SCs left after this turn.

I think it has been a very interesting game even if it ends in a 7 way draw. But then it is my first public press game so that may make it more interesting to me than for others.

So, the options are:

1. draw,
2. stalemate,
3. England stabs or gets stabbed,
4. we go for a seven-way simultaneous stab. This could become a new variant.

Please note that a Med stab is simply out of the question. I might be a bastard, but I am not an ass hole.

So everyone but England has posted a draw vote. England claims he wants to wait until he has taken STP, just so he can color it pink.

Given that the stalemate line is not set and there is a nonzero chance the MEGA ALLIANCE! can exploit an error, this is remarkably stupid, even for this crowd. His alliance is the one on the defensive, and with the opposition united in a draw vote the odds of a falling out are next to nil in the short term.

Its low risk for England, granted - even if he is sincere in his stated aim, he can always stab if things go to hell and hope to be part of a smaller draw - but low risk is not the same as *no* risk, and if I were stabbed in this game I'd make it my mission to pull my critic down with me.
