Ladies and Gents, this is how the charter stands. It is set out as a letter, incorporating the beliefs that we have voted on into the covering text, as set out by Bo in my absence (many thanks), and detailing the decisions that were actually come to. The full voting list is then set out in an annex for transparency. I hope this suits everyone! Please feel free to let me know if I've missed anything.
<<<NEW WEBDIPIA CHARTER>>>
For the attention of the King’s most humble servant, Captain “Pickles” Rick
We, the Councillors of New webDipia, declare ourselves in allegiance to King Byron and establish this new land as a colony in his name. It is with his grace that we seek this new venture and aspire for good faith, good fortune, and vast prosperity.
The Councillors of new webDipia declare this land governed firstly by the King and, underneath His Majesty, the Governor, who shall be elected at a gathering of the Councillors every 5 phases by plurality. The Governor cannot act unilaterally in any fashion. He is, however, responsible for making wise recommendations to the remainder of the Councillors on foreign policy, assisting in sustaining the land on which we live, working closely with our hired specialists and other valued, influential assets as chosen by the Councillors, offering regular commentary and wisdom in daily matters, and upholding a positive relationship with the subjects of New webDipia. He can be removed from office with a unanimous vote among the Councillors, excluding his own, under charges of treason against the King, treason against the Councillors and New webDipia, or incompetence.
The Governor shall be solely responsible for appointing a Scribe, who shall be tasked with recording, counting, and tracking all changes and proposals for the Councillors, collecting votes on said proposals, and arranging any necessary documentation to be relayed to the mainland by the conclusion of each phase. The Governor shall also be solely responsible for appointing a Colony Manager, who shall, under the authority of the Governor, establish building projects with the help of our specialists, and help to meet the daily needs and necessities of the subjects of New webDipia.
New webDipia follows the Silver Standard, which is detailed specifically under Prop. 1.23, in all economic matters.
