Balon Greyjoy
So I find it interesting that based on the photos for Season 6 the show appears poised to go forward with the Ironborn Plot. I feel like they sort of "missed the boat" (ahah) on this. Balon should have died way back in Season 3. Now ironically enough by pacing it out the way they have you could argue Balon won the war of the five kings. (Hes the only one still alive among them!!)

Jeb is going left a bit on climate. And the Hillary tactics to take down Bernie just make me want to vomit. I can just vote for Hillary over someone else that makes me vomit even more, i.e. Trump/Cruz. I really hope I don't have to make a lesser-of-two-evils decision in November, I really don't.

"Never forget: When voter turnout is high, Democrats win. When voter turnout is low and people are demoralized, Republicans win."

I know too many people to count that will abstain from voting if Hillary gets the nomination. Maybe it'll take a Republican president to get the Democratic Party to actually hold democratic elections and not give people with your personal interstate a 400 delegate lead over the popular candidate.

Or maybe it'll take a Republican president to get the actual progressives within the party to break off, just as a Democratic president did to the GOP with the slowly dying Tea Party.

I am starting to wonder if the Bernie thing is just a hipster vs counter hipsterism thing. People who wanna be edgy and seem like they give a fuck about basic human rights tend to act all hipster and chant Feel the Bern! while people against Bernie tend to be people who dislike trendy things and try to start trends of their own. Like counter cultural faux pas i.e suddenly becoming a Nickleback fan, or this bizarre love of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World types (that movie is fucking awful).

Another example I can think of is the people who are deleting their facebooks and talking about how "social networking" is just not their thing anymore. But they really just moved to Tumblr or Snapchat or some other thing because their facebook was too full of drama.

Alas I digress. I like both candidates and will happily vote for the next President of the US as long as they are any Democrat. Shit put Howard Dean in there.
Durga (3609 D)
10 Feb 16 UTC
I'm fairly convinced that people who are threatening to abstain their vote for Hillary will be absolutely terrified at the thought of Cruz or Trump being POTUS, and by the time the election occurs they'll suck up their loss and vote for her.

Bernie is not a destroyer of worlds unlike many of his supporters. He knows better than to ruin Hillary. He wants her to win if it ends up being her anyway.

Hillary isn't really that progressive, she's status quo. Jeb isn't that conservative either. When the initial predictions of Clinton vs Bush version 2.0 came out last year, it was pretty hilarious both in the ridiculous dynastic politics involved, and the fact that the candidates aren't really all that different.

Luckily, the lack of Republican sanity ensures the moderates like Kasich & Jeb really have no chance, and Rubio's face pummelling that he got given by Christie probably rules him out too.

So Trump it probably is. Perhaps his great wall of USA will be blocked, perhaps not... the border fence is pretty highly guarded already after all, and Hungary employed that exact same tactic just last year to deal with the refugee crisis in Europe... it's not unheard of. Trump is no fascist, he's just the Americanised version of Nigel Farage. I'd be more concerned about his economic policies if he got in than anything else, as I struggle to imagine a big businessman doing anything positive there.

I hope if Bernie wins he picks Elizabeth Warren as his running mate. That'd be a nice combination.
Durga (3609 D)
10 Feb 16 UTC
@y2k She supports a higher minimum wage than any Republican candidate. Not only that, but did you not support Obama? Or is he too establishment to be President?
brainbomb (290 D)
10 Feb 16 UTC
Why would Hillary adding Elizabeth Warren be a bad idea? I would think both would want her. The only issue with that is taking yet another Senate seat away.

10 Feb 16 UTC
Hillary taking Michelle Obama as a VP would be utterly hilarious.
Hellenic Riot (1626 D(G))
10 Feb 16 UTC
Anti-establishmentism wasn't exactly a big force in 2008 because the long term effects of the credit crunch were a long way from being in force, but even still Obama was not the establishment then... he was the outside force who stole it from Hillary, and he pulled everyone a little bit in his direction when he won. Bernie is essentially trying to do the same thing Obama did back then, and pull it all a little bit left again. By the end of an eight year presidency, he'd be just as "establishment" as the rest of them, because others would've adjusted and accepted at least some of his ideals when the American public had clearly voted for them.

I can't see Warren wanting to run with Hillary.
y2kjbk (4846 D(G))
10 Feb 16 UTC
DO, I voted for Obama both in '08 and '12 as a lesser of two evils. Like I said, I'm ready to do it again if need be but I really don't want to. And if I have to do that in '16, I may not feel the drive to go vote in '18, like I didn't vote in '14.

Kasich is not a moderate. I wish the media would stop saying that. He has governed extremely conservatively, especially on social issues. I unfortunately live in Ohio.

Moderate by Republican standards**

His focus on bipartisanship being the main factor there, but yeah, I don't know a huge amount about him. Given his lack of campaign infrastructure and funding though, I can't see him surviving past super Tuesday.

How do you pick your allies?
Do you go into a game with a preconceived idea of who you want to ally with? Do you choose based on the country, the press, or the personalities? Do you choose your ally based on your target's press, or your ally's press? What goes in to your decision process?

Making a parametric description
Hi guys,
I want to make a parametric description as the basis for my logo, so it has to look pretty enough for that. Can I create the graph online or using some downloadable software? My graphic calculator doesn't really make it a pretty picture.
I just want to enter the parameters etc. and print the result.
