There is no dispute that fascism and its Nazi variation are far right-wing ideologies. Fascism does not fit on the liberal-conservative spectrum; the latter stem from 19th Century political traditions. But to claim that fascism and Nazism are not solidly right-wing is absurd and irresponsible.

Again, Nazism is not Right-Wing. It has characteristics of the right and the left. Nazism has more in common with today's left-wing groups than the right.

@ ND, you say name any right wing party that Hitler let stay in power after he bad got control...Hitler didn't tolerate any rival political parties. He attacked the Communists & left wing parties ruthlessly, as to the political "right", much easier for many of them to join the Nazis than the Communists. So right wing Politicians joined the Nazis to avoid being smashed by Hitler's thugs etc, but a few possibly held out, refused to join the Nazis and suffered the consequences.

The original article lays out a fairly good comparison of some tactics used by Hitler in the early days. The non-violent political ones have been used by Trump since he announced his campaign. Now that he is in power, we are already seeing what he will do with his authority. It is no surprise that authoritarians like what Trump is doing.
