I had one person express interest via PM for the study group. I'll let CB know the outcome very soon. And as much as I love you CB, resigns, CD's, and RR, especially for these learning/promotional games is a serious matter.

I've sent out game-creation instructions, will send out game-joining instructions once I have the gameID. Once it's full I'll create the actual SOW thread. Everyone is to join by the 28th, and then it shall be paused and countries swapped by the mods, and then we can unpause and start on the 2nd of March. Hopefully there will be a little bit of wiggle room in there. For the Study Group game, we'll simply have the game start on the 2nd.

Thanks man. This could be mildly problematic - I'm outside the country when the games should start, and don't know if I'll be fully around. I'll see, but don't be surprised if I'm not joining, and I'll be around on the 7th.

Out of interest, aside from firing the starting pistol, and of course your sterling work gathering players and TAs together, what does a Chancellor actually do?

As far as I can tell from watching last year's chancellor, my last piece of work is to post the thread and the opening ceremony introduction to the actual SOW. And coordinate with the mods for swaps/initial pause/emergency pause, and if a player drops (which ISN"T GONNA HAPPEN RIGHT GUYS?!)
