When do we start?

I've heard back from Arya8. Says he should have points soon. There's still two alternate spots open, and it looks like the odds are good for one if not both to get in.

I'll put a post up with all the rules and scoring stuff shortly.

@ Troodonte: I want to get the two alternates filled before moving forward so there's no scrambling later when the games are starting. I haven't heard from Onar or rodrigotjader about points issues. I'd like to give them til the end of Sun to get back to me.

Kinda rainy... but just for periods. Not too cold yet.

Tough luck. I feel the same way about Turkey. Every time I'm the Turk, Aut and Italy kick the crap out of me. Every time I'm not, Italy jumps Austria right out of the gate.

Still need two alternates, both with a good shot of making it in, if anyone wants to take them.

Also still need a ruling on whether centers for surviving get counted towards 'Total Centers' or not. I lean towards not allowing them because it means you allowed someone to solo. Anyone?

I'd rather there was nothing centre-count based in the scoring system, it encourages selfish play rather than stopping a solo

I meant if people get the same nation 3 times, because I do agree that would be a bit of a shame.
I recon you just put replacements in whichever group they belong in, much easier than trying to move others about.

C's no picnic either.

Total Centers is only a tie-breaker, and game results are considered before it.

Yeah. Getting the same country three time would stink. If that happens then cancel and restart one of the games until said person gets another country

@trip, you can add me as an alternate. I even have the points up front ;-)

being the same country is the way it is. In my last outing I pulled the same country twice. It is what it is.

@ T.Czech: You'd actually be matched up with Group B in the second round. I can understand how that wouldn't be clear considering how I listed things.
