I saw her Saturday night and I was her sober driver, and we spent an evening together and worked thru our problems. Holy god. This is either the shittiest decision of my life or its gonna be amazing. I am moving home and I am gonna try to make this work.

I am so absurdly in love with this person that were so fucking weird, total alcoholics, but honestly I wanna try, because I really do love her.

For all you who kept this thread alive, deep down you kept my hope alive. And it culminated in me just trying again. I appreciate how everyone in this community tried to either encourage me via messages, or told me to give up. All of it helped. but in my heart this person is all I care about. And I just want to know I can make it work. So, ideally this is an unexpected happy ending that this thread has, and also one which I never in my wildest dreams had either. but she didnt give up on me either.

So hopefully it doesnt end with both of us in counseling or some shit lol

Brainbomb, I don't know if this is a joke or not, but if is true you need to really think is this person right for me. Don't just go on the feeling of "love". You need to pray a lot a reflect on what is God's name man for you. And if you don't believe in God, then it won't work and nothing in your life will truly work.
