Ok I just signed on and I am not willing to read all 90+ replies. Can someone sum up everything that has happened? Or at least everyone being accused?

@bo: Don't worry, I plan to do that, but I also want to get a feel for the players off the bat.
Now, onto uclabb. My overall opinion is that he is slightly suspicious, but certainly nothing enough to warrant a vote. He came in, responded to Maniac, who was playing like Maniac plays, and then he gave a simple answer to lynch vs no-lynch. Had that been it, it would have been suspicious. However, he provided a discussion which he valued more (the marine) and gave an opinion on what he should generally do (not blow up). He also voted for tvrocks because he only gave an opinion on LvNL, and defended against Fluminator who claimed he was obsessed with not dying (which I kind of understand). I would advise watching him, but not discounting what uclabb says.

So far there have been votes cast on you, uclabb, and Vashta as far as I know. I don't think there has been one on anyone else. We also discussed whether or not to lynch on day one and briefly touched on a few other subjects (WIFOM and the role of the marine), but I think those have died out at least for the time being. Go back through, skim, and pick up on what you need to know, and then if you want to go back and take a closer look at something, do so. In general, be prepared to read everything, even if it's just a skim. No post is unimportant.

I propose we all vote to lynch either Vashta or phil_a_s. Vashta has been noisy and vociferously advocating for a no-lynch day 1. If he is scum he has nothing to lose from a no-lynch day 1 because he knows who the aliens are, and at night he can kill a townie and have one less player standing between him and victory. Whereas a lynching on day 1, no matter how unlikely, could cost him a lot in the game, if he is an alien. If I were an alien I would prefer an assurance I won't get killed to even a remote chance I would.

But OB_Gyn, maybe he just really believes that a no-lynch day 1 is beneficial for the town! Then why, as soon as I posted a vote for him, did phil_a_s immediately jump to defend him? Phil_a_s didn't defend anyone else in the game. Others have had votes against them for FAR more shaky reasoning. Furthermore, phil_a_s pointed a finger at uclabb, whereupon the bandwagon Vashta immediately jumped.

My shipmates, we must lynch on day 1. And if we must, we should vote for those who seek to limit our insight into who is and who is not an alien.

Yeah Ive just about read everthing and I agree that Vashta seems very suspicious.

This is the same kind of shaky reasoning I don't want our final decision to be based on. Phil_a_s also barely defended me, but did try to rerout my focus to something he found more beneficial, which is a good move. Also, as I said, a townie is likely to be lynched day 1 and the mafia are likely to simply take advantage of the fervor of wanting to lynch to help provide confusion.

Your theories are weak, but I admire your will to try and make a case, but we certainly need more info, and for more people to post.

Well see the thing with mafia is that we have no significant evidence pointng to anyone in the beginning. Anyone who is even slightly suspicious will be lynched first and from that we get information to make the next decision more informed.
