Don't panic Mr Cameron .... just keep calm and carry on
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-28967904
Cameron is so arrogant he won't change but today it was announced that net migration to the UK was 243,000 last year, Cameron has promised 50,000. He and his Old Etonian cronies seem to be the only people that don't realize there is a problem ..... he talks tough but acts like a pussy !!

Behaviorism
According to Wikipedia, “The behaviorist school of thought maintains that behaviors as such can be described scientifically without recourse either to internal physiological events or to hypothetical constructs such as thoughts and beliefs.”

Do you think this is appropriate? If so, does that make you optimistic or pessimistic about the prospects for human happiness?

The government is perfectly capable of running companies, tendmote, look around the world. The fact that the US doesn't operate this way is pure ideology, it has nothing to do with efficiency or effectiveness.
krellin (80 DX)

Uhh....NO, they're not. Everytime they run something, whether it is garbage pickup, a hospital systems or any other adventure, they perform at lower quality and higher costs.

The government has proven to be an utter *failure* at competing with the private sector.

Hence...the compelte and utter failure of Communist Russia. China has given up communism in favor of capitalism - because government run doesn't work.

Sad, pathetic little Putin. Problem with him is that he is the result of public education....proof positive of what a failure government-run is. Putin demonstrates a complete ignorance of truth and facts -- the perfect example of "government run" education system.

Keep spinnig on your thumb, Putin - I'm sure it amuses you, but the only one believing your lies is you....except, not even you believe your own lies, I suspect. You only spew them to try to make others feel bad in a pathetic attempt to try to make yourself feel better.

It won't work. You'd be happier to - just once - try truth. But...I suspect it is more of a mental disorder that drives you at this point. Seek help...preferably from a for-profit private doctor if possible....since any government doctor will never actually seek to solve your problem in an attempt to keep you coming back endlessly to justify his existence...

I do look around the world, and a lot of the innovation does come from the USA. As such, why *should* the government deny companies the opportunity to bring ideas into the actual world? Taking a discovery and turning it into a real thing in the world does not take care of itself; I'm not sure why you're characterizing that as "theft."

And if you're convinced that this American innovation is worthless, then you should not be complaining about the "theft" at all, as it would have no value.

Putin33 (111 D)
27 Aug 14 UTC
Tendmote it's really difficult to have a conversation and stay on topic. Before you were talking about operations, now it's back to innovation. Let me know what you actually want to discuss.

Operations are crucial to innovation. They're not separate topics. A discovery and it's application in the real world are the innovation.

@Putin,
I am not sure why you feel that the moderators should not be taken seriously. If they ask you to do something, please do it. If you think they stepped out of line, then please email us at [email protected] and ask an admin to review a moderator's action. Thank you for understanding and following site rules.

@ssorenn and krellin,
Please tone down your rhetoric as well. There is no need to attack a person's worth based on their opinion. If there is a flaw in their reasoning, point it out but there is no need to use ad hominems, calling them worthless human beings or a fuckstain. Thanks.
krellin (80 DX)
27 Aug 14 UTC
@Zultar - the flaw in his reasoning is most likely based upon his personal ideology, sense of self-worth, etc. I think it is actually a very valid point, and the boy need legitimate psychological help. that's my honest opinion - it's not an attack.

That being said, since the majority of Putin comments are attacks on anyone that works for a living I would appreciate it greatly if YET AGAIN the Mods did not turn a blind eye to Putin's continuous attacks on everyone and everything. YOu let him get away with instigating shit all the time, and then bash others when they reply in kind. Come on, Zultar...it's one thing to not like me, but you are being a hypocrite here.
zultar (4180 DMod(P))
27 Aug 14 UTC
(+3)
I am unclear on how I or the mods are being hypocritical. Two mods asked Putin to tone it down and I asked him to do what a moderator asked him to do. Moreover, we have also contacted Putin before when we thought it was necessary, so please don't presume what we have or have not done. If he is civil in his discourse and he can disagree in his discourse, then that's fine. If he starts to make ad hominem attacks, then we'll ask him to tone it down.
ssorenn (0 DX)
27 Aug 14 UTC
@zultar, this guy comes in and derails the thread, and starts the insinuations. If he starts, I shall follow. If you would like me to refrain for calling him a fuckstain, well I'll just have to find another adjective. Fine. Just for you.
tendmote (100 D(B))

Actually I think it was Lando who started in with the insults:

“Fuck it's frustrating when retards think they understand things. You people are waste cases.”

After that Putin33 went to "lazy filthy rich scum who live off of dividends" and then ssorenn went weird.

Anyway it's futile to have any consistent anti-ad-hominem policy (he started it! no he did!), it'll never work. But it should be dialed back when it gets weird (ssorenn).

Just my 2 cents.

Also, I am not lazy!
Jamiet99uk (808 D)

@tendmote ... officially, I'm not a forum mod, and I don't really want to be. I don't envy that job. I can't silence players or lock threads or do any other forum wibbly wobbly stuff (wow I'm going British). I only work the games. I guess pangloss is happy about that, but he's really breaking character; Pangloss is supposed to think that all things are for the best.

"If he is civil in his discourse and he can disagree in his discourse, then that's fine. If he starts to make ad hominem attacks, then we'll ask him to tone it down. "

@Zultar - again, I guess I question your random application of the works "civil in his discourse". So coming in and saying everyone that makes a profit, anyone that works for a coroporation, etc is stealing from othes, etc etc etc...while not a "direct" ad hominem attack is certainly not civil, productive discourse, and you and I both know he is directing those attacks at each of us in his phrasing. And yet if we reply, you get all defensive. Give me a break, Zultar...You want to pretend that you want some happy, productive conversations, and yet you let Putin *constantly* get away with anger-filled, provocative bullshit that is *purely* intended to insult everyone that doesn't walk in lock-step with communism. He doesn't seek productive conversation - he bashes and abuses everyone he disagrees with, and you let it happen. The fact that Putin is so often the central focus on these sorts of discussion is the proof in the pudding. Get real, man.
pangloss (363 D)

Is Putin actually a communist? I would expect a little more of that Marxist flair (and analytic rigour) from him were that true.

Fairly Cheap Website Hosting and Webdesign
€7,50/month, €90/year to host a site with up to 5 GB of space and monthly bandwidth, my help when needed, many 1-click installations, webmail accounts for your domain, excellent reliability and English support. Easy. Quite all-inclusive except domain registration. That’s £5,99/month or $9.93/month. International transactions cost a bit too. Prices change. You can make me a personal offer. Price for webdesign depends on workload but think 3 digits. More inside.

What would happen if...
What would happen if I convoy an army from Belgium to Holland using my fleet in the north sea as well as order my other fleet at Holland to move to Belgium, simultaneously?
Is this possible?

PS: I know it would be same as ordering F:Hol->North Sea, F:North Sea-> Bel, A:Bel->Hol; but just curious. ;)

Gunboat support moves
I'm in a no messaging anonymous player game where I was dislodged because one player supported another into my territory. How common is it that without messaging a player would know the exact move to make to assist another? Should I report this to the mods? It just seems suspicious as there theoretically shouldn't be a way for the two players to communicate....
