@PE - I did it when a mod poked fun at my trying to get them to stop whenever I saw the thread bounce back up. Had there not been a mod weigh in, even in jest, this would not have been created. And while this is mean, it's tame in comparison to the original attack.

But this is a good argument for mods having threadlocking power.

Usra, thanks for the definition... i know people who use the word troll similar to how i use the word prank. Whereby to troll someone is to make comments on their thread to infuriate them.

Not this simplistic 'trolling' which consists entirely of insulting people's mother does not count. You have to talk about something they care enough about to draw them into a reply... (of course two trolls together could verbally spar all day... but it is only interesting if they don't know what they are each trying to do...)

You do live in your own little world, don't you? I made a small joke, which I clearly indicated as such. I then *stopped posting*, per your request. It was you that bumped the thread back to life an hour after I posted to start this fight.

I get the sense that you haven't been the victim of true admin abuse much. If this were almost any other site, you would have been permabanned for this post. Most sites are managed by egotistical megalomaniacs that can't handle the smallest amount of criticism. I know because I've been banned from a number of sites for (politely) criticizing how the admins handled situations. If anything, I think this post shows that the mods on this site truly feel they are part of the community and don't view themselves as superior. And by the way, you know what I was doing when you were complaining about about me? I was manually unpausing about 50 games as the requests came in.

Recently, you have actually been helpful to the community. You've been politely reminding people not to post cheating accusations, which is a big help. But, every time you do something stupid like this, you lose the respect of the mods and the rest of the community and end up having to start from the ground up.

What you thought to gain from this, I still don't understand. Instead of having one vile thread that won't die, we now have 2. So, great job there. Hopefully, new players will actually read this thread so they realize that there isn't actually any admin abuse on this site, as you seem so dead-set on promoting. I guess you could say that you were making a point, but to whom I have no idea. You knew krellin's thread was stupid, I knew krellin's thread was stupid, the vast majority of the community knew krellin's thread was stupid.
