Even if he doesn't pass any misogynistic policies, having a misogynistic head of state is still bad. The President is primarily a figurehead. He is doing damage to the cultural wellbeing of the country.

Having a black president didn't change the racial problem in the country in any way. Having a misogynistic president won't make misogynistic people any less misogynistic. Sure it's not nice seeing as he won't be someone you could get your children to look up to, but meh it could have been worse. It could've been Hillary getting ready to set up a no-fly zone in Syria with the intent of shooting down Russian planes. The worse Trump said about China had to do with trade, and while that could lead to shit situations that won't be nearly as bad as an actual war with Russia.
