Fixing part of the NMR and CD in beginning of games

To be clear, I am NOT a programmer, but it seems to me a simple fix at the start of new games would be an an initial ready button. This would allow the game not to start if everyone is not present. For longer duration games people would have a whole phase to figure things are starting and for live games,the duration could be 5-10 minutes that way if one or more people don't show up, they get kicked out so some else could take their place.

Thought??

Convertible Keys

My wife is taking her Jeep to drop off at the shop tonight, meaning tomorrow she either gets the minivan or my convertible. I told her if she wants my convertible she'll have to pluck the keys from between my butt-cheeks in the morning, because I'm sleeping with them to protect my ride.

Is that wrong?

Star Trek Online

So I used to enjoy this game, but my friends don't, and I don't like playing it on my own, nor joining some random fleet, so...

Anyone wants to play it together? I have 3 characters of various factions, roles and levels and I'm also willing to start over, so enough options there I'd say.
Diplomacy fleet works for me :)

On Live Game Ads

So, some people didn't like that I Silenced some live game ads today. That's cool. In the past, we've had some problems with the Forum getting clogged by ads, but if that doesn't concern people, I'm just as happy to have less work. So, here's how the mods and I will be proceeding moving forward. No real surprises.

Live Game Ads posted outside the Live Game Ad Thread will be given a polite message telling the OP where their ads should go and the thread will be locked. Exceptions will be made for Live games in the distant future or Live games that require special rules and planning (for instance, a G+ game).

I'm a little disappointed there wasn't a stronger push to take this power away from me, or at least a more interesting discussion, considering how often people complain about how involved mods are in the Forum. But, if it's a service the community wants, I'm happy to provide it.
