I had fun in this game, but I was really frustrated with Germany's play. His insistence on taking Warsaw at the expense of all his centers was...crazy to me. As soon as England swapped the fleet for the army in Stp, he should have pulled off. I had thought about taking Stp from England when it was undefended, but the pressure I was under from Austria made it impossible. I'm glad I didn't, because that would have meant an Austrian solo. I frankly never recovered from opening North, then being bounced out of both Sweden (another questionable choice by Germany from my perspective) and Bulgeria.

could someone remind me of the tiebreak rules please? i am specifically interested in how many points the fourth place finisher (IKE) in group 2 has.

i found this scoring system earlier in the thread. what ended up being decided? are the only centres that count the ones gotten in solos and draws?

Congratulations, Barn3tt and 48v8stepansk. From the point when I lost Belgium it was clear to me that I will not be able to defend against England and Austria. I was just hoping that England will let me live. From the tournament perspective it would be wiser to throw the game and let one of you solo, but I guess I am not so experienced. I didn't play WTA games before this tournament. (this is my excuse for making mistakes :-) ). Thx for a good game to all of you.

GG all, i got very lucky with E and I's choice of disbands. I kept expecting the Italian to try breaking into the Ionian, but it never happened. But the prior Austria kept banging on both Arm and Con, and I and R didn't have much of a chance to go anywhere else. For a while there it looked like the Austrian was going to solo, which contributed to I's disbands and holding Turkey.

gg, all and nice solo, gramilaj- I was counting on a 3-way in this game with France and Austria. A bit puzzled as to why Austria decided to start hammering away at Munich- I'm not sure that gramilaj could have soloed if both of us moved to stop him together. Anyway, this is why I changed course and moved aggressively towards a 2-way, Kamen. Oh, and nice defense Kamen/England! Curious to see how a solo in one game and 2-way draw in the other impacts the final game's play.
