Floodgates - why does Guak benefit most from your death? Also, can you refute Brainbomb's case against you? Why did you feel the need to write "I can't afford to stay up reading and replyin to your case sorry BB. ill do my best to assuage your fears tomorrow. I can safely say though that you are reading into things far too much - I'm not scum so any 'evidence' your case is based on will be pure coincidence" - especially if brainbomb was clearly going to die?

Guak, why do you think scum wanted you dead "the whole game"? What would scum gain from your lynching that they wouldn't gain from the lynching of anyone else (especially another lurker)?

To clarify my question @Floodgates, why did Guak go after you in particular?

Oh and from my experience as a lone mafioso in M12, trying to face the task of winning without teammates and with very low odds can be daunting, so scum would probably be extremely cautious right now. Obviously not everyone thinks like me though

I never said anything about my death. However, I think the roleblock on me was used as a distraction, trying to cause a bit of chaos among us. Who benefits the most from the game being shaken up a bit? Guak does - he had to know he would be the leading candidate for today's lynch. If he can throw some suspicion on me by baiting me to claim the roleblock then there's a chance he will survive the day.

Other reasons I can see for scum roleblocking me is to clear me and then set me up for a lynch when/if I don't get NK.

Scum might be using my RB claim as a basis for him to claim it tomorrow if he needs to.

I'd be mightily suspicious of anyone else trying to claim RB tomorrow - so far as to suggest that if a townie gets blocked tonight they should not claim it.

Thanks. That's not the format I remember the claim being though - maybe there was another one the day before too.

Anyway... why did Brankl feel the need to ask if anyone was roleblocked? Why did Jamiet feel the need to respond to it?

BB proceeded to immediately claim RB and Jamiet (only then) asked "Wat? Why would there even BE a roleblock? What purpose does it serve?" (pg 185).

@DL - Why do you think Jamie would respond to Brankls roleblock question and then react like that when BB claimed a roleblock.

@DL - I was aware that BB was likely to die. I wrote that on the chance that he would still be alive (and it was a collective 'your' including anyone that had been convinced by his case).

I suspect that whoever roleblocked me was piggybacking BB's case against me. I know it looks kinda scummy for me to claim a roleblock at this point in the game and I expect that any case against me from now on will include that fact.
However, I felt like town would benefit from a discussion of who would be likely to make such a play as scum so I claimed it anyway.

I don't think that scum roleblocking me necessarily negates the caution tactic. If I'm believed then they just NK me the next night. If I'm not believed then I suddenly become a potential lynch candidate.

This reasoning is why I think that scum is probably not one of the lurkers and is more likely to be either Guak or Jamie since they are both candidates for lynch today.
