@mapu - He may have been a multi in another game, but he clearly beat you fair and square as he was the only one in that game banned. As far as havign played this game before, I've been playing it for 35 years. You do know it's over 50 years old, this game called Diplomacy? Never assume a noob to the site is a noob to the game or even to Diplomacy on the web as they mau have plaued it on PlayDip or Facebook before finding it here.

I do agree with your premise, Draug, but in this case I feel like I was proven correct. His communications and everything about his game was not new. And yes he did beat me that game but I was mad at the time about the way he did it so I let him know I was on to him. I was also newer to the site then so I wasn't used to how things work on this site despite having played the board game and on playdip.

It's amazing he was able to figure it out so quickly.

My point is he didn't cheat *in your game*. Maybe all the multis of his were caught. Maybe he was just a reasonably talneted player who discovered the site and decided to cheat on it. Maybe he was a a PlayDip thug come back to try and get revenge on Kestas in some warped and twisted way. Just saying you lost fair and square. It's just coincidence he was a multi in other games.

And remember, this isn't the only site using this code. He may have been a facebook player first.

That said, there is one other possibility. Did any one in that game CD at some point? If so, that may have been his multi and someone else took over the position, qiping the evidence of the multi out at that point.
