ease off a big please, ok. I don't think he was trying to trash what we're doing. He was asking questions basically, and they are questions that really should be asked. We're not a ponzi scheme nor are we Goldman Sachs, we're an emerging fund that has a very unique trade strategy that allows us to make profits regardless of the direction the S&P 500 Futures Index moves, while risking a small percentage (5-15%) of the total pool. The more money we have, the more we make -- to a point.

What I meant was, whether you invest or not isn't going to make or break the fund. It really comes down to whether or not you're happy with the return you're getting on your investments now (if you have any) and if you'd like your money to work harder for you. If you're happy, and you don't want better returns, so be it, I am happy for you.

Graduated in may with a degree in economics and a minor in finance, I wasn't able to go double major unfortunately.

The thing that has kept me unemployed so far is my lack of professional experience. I've been applying for low level financial analysis jobs.

@krellin - By little research, I mean I pay attention. Both to the news and to my own investments. I think I'm more well informed than most of the population, but I make no claim to be an expert. A quick check of the GS 2011 annual report says they returned 3.7% in 2011. As I said, it was a quick check and maybe I missed something but I'd say it demonstrates they're not earning 20+% in all market conditions.

@Michigan - You're probably right in that they wouldn't buy it off you; but they would take all of their very, very smart people and put them in a room until it was reverse engineered. And then they too would be offering, but not promising, the same large returns.

If you have credentials which can be checked to validate the legitimacy of your company as well as details on why and how you can offer such high returns to clients then I'm all ears.

@Michigan - Oops, just saw your second point when you made just the same statement.

@krellin - Of course bankers can make money off the system. As usual, the problem comes when they abuse the system to defraud their customers for their own personal gain. This happens in every line of work, but it's more visible in banking because it's straight up cash and the numbers are so large. It's hard to make billions defrauding customers when you're running a laundromat - stealing all the loose change that falls out.

@Krellin: I will happily be one of the twenty-five haha. 24 Percent return? That's a joke!

@Michigan: Can I get a copy of your disclosure documents? I'm assuming you're a CTA at this point, and I'd like some solid numbers for comparison. I don't really have 25,000 to spend, but I think it would be good for future reference, and who knows, maybe I can find some people to invest in a joint account.

Sorry, when I was saying joke, I was saying that's an absolutely ludicrously amazing return. I think it's possible, after all, if I were going to start a Ponzi scheme, this isn't exactly where I would begin. Sorry for the miscommunication.

A big question though that's been on my mind though, should I go for my masters before I enter the job market, or after? And for a job such as your own, would a masters in finance, economics, or an MBA be best?

As to your system, I assume you generate returns by hedging your bets, so to speak, so that in the event that your derivative would lose money, some insurance company would pay out and if your derivative makes money, you pay a portion to the insurance company?

Nothing beyond the basics. Managed software rollout projects to customers. The product delivered is done by us develeopers but we as a group are notoriois for not estimating well and missing deadlines. The group being all developers world.wide not my specific division.

And goldfinger... Bengals had a winning season.last uear and Reds led all of MLB for some time this year and are still rockin their division.

no investment is "guaranteed.". In fact, it is illegal to even use that word or imply that a certain level if return is assured.
