moves rulecheck

Suppose army A moves to province C, supported by army B. If army C 'defends' by attacking province B, what happens? I thought that army C would cut the support from B for army A... thus causing a bounce all round.

, and I'm only discouraging noob play in live games after what happened in a game of mine yesterday. GAME IS WTA so the idea is if you're on "the brink of greatness" a solo win of 210

might put you over that limit into the circle of champions (or at least closer).

the communication by supporting can indicate alliances though. it can be determined by luck, but mostly skill if all players are actually present. it tests logic a lot.

hmmm, but in my past gunboats, I've done support holds etc, but if two or more people just decide to attack you, there's not much you can do

But if you have good diplomacy, you convince others not to attack you... here its not possible.
If your neighbours go into the game knowing who they believe its easiest to attack, you're helpless.

For example, every time I've drawn Russia, Turkey hasn't allowed me to grow at all

How does making a bet of 30 force good players? You start out with 100 so you can cover that bet really easily

yes but maybe if you're smart you won't jump into a bigger game at first. that's the idea. it is a larger percentage of your total points. Don't bet what you can't afford to lose. If you suddenly lost 30% of your wealth in reality would you be happy?

if you lower bet but make it locked you can ensure only "decent" players join while not rmaking them risk 30

I really dont care, just trying to understand the logic behind it. I dont see the difference between a bet of 6 million and a bet of 5 except that more people would be willing to join the 5
