Sure, but why do porn actors/actresses do it? Like prostitution, 98% (*) of the time, because they are desperate for money or because they want to have lots of money.

So who would produce porn in a society where you get exactly the same if you work in a factory, tending a donut shop or having sex with strangers.

i agree that few women choose the job because the job itself appeals to them, i'm sure very few children dream of becoming pawn stars.
I also think the idea of using someone, even that you don't know, purely as a means to physical pleasure, seems fundamentally morally wrong.

Um... I don't know I think porn has a negative impact on society, at least morally. It reinforces stereotypes between the genders, and creates unrealistic expectations about sex. But that's just what I think. Economically its a viable industry obviously. I don't know.

Porn is disgusting. Its morally wrong and is one of the filthy things of society. In the perfect state it wouldnt exist.

I don't think the idea of it is inherently morally wrong. I also don't think it's a filthy part of society. But, as is actually is, I think it is morally unhealthy since it tends to objectify women as sexbots and the like. The "perfect world porn" that I guess I'm saying wouldn't be wrong would just be an unbiased sex tape kind of thing. Again I don't know I just get that sense.

There is a whole line of porn for couples that is respectful to both genders and meant to be viewed by a couple to spice up their love life. How is this demeaning, filthy, or immoral and don't say the bible says it is as it isn't the end all source of morality, especially when it has an entire "book" of verbal porn in it.

I'm not sure that it's a healthy pursuit. I think that it has a tendency to concentrate the mind on the opposite sex as a source of, well, sex and that this concentration is liable to continue beyond the interaction with the images. That's just an opinion. However.
If it does tend to cause a person to think about sex when seeing other people (who might think that the meeting was entirely non-sexual) then I don't think that it is likely to be helpful in terms of benefiting greater mutual understanding and cooperation.
So, potential loss.

Porn to me is overall a bad thing if it was abused but nothing is wrong with porn if it is used to spice up your love life with your partner. Personally, I've watched average porn with my girlfriend to get ourselves in the mood for some intimacy and it works to an extent(no pun intended) whether you are male or female.

The wife and I get a laugh out of the asurdity of some of the scenarios and the really crappy acting.

Oh yeah. Horrible acting and the background music sucks even worse(no pun intended...again).
