Think the game is bugged now anyway. Is it normal for it to say "Next phase: Now" for a few hours?

I believe that game shouldn't go on after the player admitted to metagaming (but his messages in Global indicates he is using double account). That game is proceeding and it will encourage Double account and/or Metagaming.

@Ice Cold- email a mod to see if that'll get their attention, if they haven't ruled on this already.

Sent email to general moderator again, sent PM to TGM and dangermouse.
If anyone looks at the archived messages in that game I linked, it will be clear its double account. Both account logs in same time, logs off same time and replies to message same time.

This complaint has been rumbling on for far too long. Can a mod look at this and then post a verdict on here? I'm in a game with a couple of these people and I think there's metagaming, rather than multi-accounting, taking place. But it could do with sorting out one way or the other.

He betrayed him, so no. If you had gone into the game with the intent to have an unbreakable alliance, it would have been. But a stab proves you weren't metagaming, unless of course you went into it with the intent of you taking everything from him then him CDing, but then you may as well have just multi'd.

well when I'm italy, and he's austria, it's hard to have an unbreakable alliance.

almost this exact case came up a week or two ago, and it seemed like things had smoothed out. outc4st asked some questions about metagaming, and assured everyone that him and Alexmc were friends who found out together, and that because of their friendship that they figured they could ally a lot. then they said that they would avoid it in new games and probably avoid joining games with each other.

also one of them brought up that icecold and someone else were doing this to start something against them.

idk if anyone else remembers this, but yeah.

A final update: These accounts are owned by two different people. They are however friends. I shall be following up the metagaming issue.

France+Germany having nice time fighting England in the following game.

This is the game I am in, he just defeated Germany's last army :( and now only I am left. The feeder account AlexMc(france) is wishfully undefended while he have the army to defend well, same time Outc4st is well prepared to "Backstab". In his winning turn, he will "backstab" his ally to show the world he is not double account.

If anyone looks at the old maps of these games, you will see there was MANY cooperative moves.

And lastly take a look at the last 3 game links, their game ids are sequential! Meaning he made the games to do what he is doing!

He is using the feeder account mostly to occupy my supply centers, to appear to others that its not feeder account.

Ice Cold, these accounts are not multis, and I have contacted them about metagaming, and am going to check again that there is no further metagaming in October. I am acting to prevent breaking of the rules, so, assuming that there is none when I check back, I am satisfied that enough has been done.

Thank you for your efforts on this issue Ghostmaker. I think as long as you do keep an eye on them, this is a fair resolution.

FYI I am also in one of the games mentioned by Ice Cold, and although they are acting as allies (which may be metagaming) I am fairly sure that AlecMC and Outc4st are actually two different people, not a multi-accounter. If it's any consolation, their alliance is in the process of getting its ass kicked.

I thought that game will be either Canceled or Drawn. Now he is dividing the map among them 50/50 and eliminating me. I will be shown as defeated and both accounts will gain big points.
