So I've played a LOT of live games, probably more than anyone else who has posted in this thread. The issue IMO with the RR system is that in the past, we didn't have it, so in live games, it did pretty much become custom for a lot of players, when they were eliminated, to just leave.
Hitting ready every day or two for a regular game to make sure you did your due diligence isn't a big deal. Hitting ready every 5-10 minutes for a live game for the next hour while you wait your eventual defeat is.
So you leave. You have two scattered SCs, what's the big deal?
Except then they implemented RR, so now it hurts you. And they don't go away.
I have 54 CDs. Two of these happened a year or so ago at the beginning of 2016. One happened in 2015. All others are from 2014 or before, with a much higher weight toward like 2011/2012 when I had spotty internet in college.
Almost all of my NMRs happened in one of three games: the live World Dip game that was a mess for everyone involved, a SRG that is unranked, and a live game I played around Christmas that I forgot about immediately after joining.
Yet my RR is 88%. It has been since RR was implemented.
There seems to be no way to improve RR, and it especially hits live game players and those who have been here for a long time.
We need some sort of forgiveness for old games or weighting to not count live games as much.
