I think its fucked up they are trying to bury the banning of a popular member with donation drives, points giveaways, and bullshit.

I rarely comment on the forum, but I think this is a worthy cause to participate in.

If the mods really had made this decision in a logical way, they wouldn't have used terms like "spewing shit" in the official ban. The tone of zultar's ban just seems to be one of maliciousness, not real objection to site rules. I hope the mods will realize that the webdip community gains from having krellin here (even though we all hate him) and reconsider the ban.

@brainbomb, it's a bit disingenuous to say the mods are "covering up" their ban of krellin with the donation drives that they were undoubtedly planning well before all this mess.

Everyone reacted more or less the same way when Draug was banned back in 2014 but people need to stop ripping on the mods for being human. They put up with krellin's shit for years (over six to be exact) and gave him chance after chance but he just kept pushing the envelope. This time it went too far and frankly he got what was coming to him. I'm sure he has some modicum of redeeming qualities under his overtly obtuse behavior but that does not excuse his excessive and regularly boorish behavior in which he had no qualms getting personal. Surprise, the mods have feelings like every other human being. They let abuse after abuse go by answering with the occasional warning and temporary silencing only to be met with the same vitriolic drivel each and every time he came back. They finally say enough and ban him and now all of a sudden everyone is calling in to question the integrity of the site and its operators? Give me a break.

At the end of the day this is zultar and kestas's site and they can do with it what they damn well please. It's not a democracy. The decision’s been made and krellin isn’t worth fighting over. He certainly had his good moments, though few and far between, but to say he was a valuable contribution to this site because he wasn’t afraid to spew insults at anything and anyone is laughable. He was an angry bully who was occasionally cordial and nice when the mood struck him.

Let's make krellin coming back contingent upon mapleleaf coming back. Similar situations the way I understand it. Who here would petition for the reinstatement of mapleleaf? Because I sure as hell wouldn't. No one did, in fact.
