Not everyone can give money to the website, as not everyone has money to give. Jmo gave countless hours hunting cheaters and generally making the site a better place to play games.

He's a large part of the reason why live games aren't just scores of multiaccounters looking for easy points. So maybe let up on the whole la-de-da I'm a fucking donator rhetoric. Eh? There are multiple ways people can contribute to the site.

And why is it so hard to accept that maybe people don't appreciate you sending out lots of PMs every time you have a game. Other people do use PM invites but we're usually talking password protected games, that happen less frequently (like maybe once a month not multiple times per day). We've got a live game thread it does work. And if you've found people you like playing with maybe set up an IM channel via something like discord, or google chat that way you can easily get a hold of all of them at once without having to PM everyone individually, and when your games are done you can always invite people to join the IM channel, or just look in the live game thread for more games you're hosting.

@Capt Brad, I don't threaten, I inform. As for contributions. I contributed to the site by devoting several years running the site's moderator team and handling 2,000+ cases that came to the moderator email (more then every other mod in site history combined). I also rewrote the site rules and have made coding contributions to the site in addition to personally training around half of the current moderator team.

And I was referring to "so piss of meme and the crying gang ", of which I was a part of. You have captainmeme, who runs vDiplomacy's mod team and who was a webdip mod for years, myself, several current mods, and various other longstanding members of the site politely asking you to stop mass pm'ing people. So I am recommending you take a minute and think about your position on the mass pm's for a minute.

Nobody else in site history has had a problem using the live game thread for ads. Please consider switching to that route.

Not true, I'd personally fund it without a problem. But that aside, donating several dollars to a site does not give you the right to be an asshole to anyone. Go to the site rules and take a look at the first line under Responsibilities.

I never said you did. I said he got rid of the multi accounters that ruined live games. Who often do play for points.

Eh? The site got by for many years pre-donations, but I certainly respect the people who've chosen to donate money to it, its good that they do it. But that doesn't give you the right to berate others for their perceived lack of contribution. Particularly when the target of your ire is someone who has done a ton for the site.

I don't particularly want to restart the fight, but just wanted to say that I've never had a problem with the PM invites. Kinda like them, actually. There's even a better chance of getting a game started quickly than just using the Live Games thread, which sometimes gets bumped to the bottom of the page.
