I hope you realize that you're stereotyping. Trump has plenty of non-male, non-white supporters. Plenty of women are pro-life because they believe that a fetus's life is just as valuable as that of a newborn. Black Trump supporters realize that police brutality against blacks is overblown by the liberal propaganda media. Latino Trump supporters don't want to be put into the same bucket with scum that come into this country illegally. Poor Americans of all races realize that the left claims to act in their best interest but in fact are putting them into a sharecropping cycle of welfare.

Police should just be wearing body cameras all the time. Pretty dumb that people are resistant to it. It's good for everyone except corrupt cops.

All I want is a candidate who:
- In favor of universal healthcare
- Pro 2nd Amendment
- Stands up for privacy and free speech
- Decrease military spending, increase NASA/research funding

Chaqa, I don't think anyone is anti-2nd Amendment. Some people just kind of believe in the "well regulated" part of well regulated militia.

Leon, these people are of course welcome to their opinions, but you'll see that that paragraph was directed at left-leaning people who are refusing to vote for either candidates. These are people who disagree with yours/Trump's assessment of those issues, but refuse to vote to stop him because they won't be affected as strongly.

@ghug ... voting a candidate that didn't win one of the two major party nominations isn't "refusing to vote for either candidate," it's voting for a someone they perceive to be a better candidate. If the Democrats can't corral independent votes, that's the party's fault, not the voters' faults.

Actually, I feel safe taking my meaningless stand because I vote in Indiana and as a result my vote doesn't count. Neither does yours. It's part of this whole fucked up system where a few states decide each and every year.

I voted Bernie in the primary and it was pretty cool for my first presidential primary vote to go to someone I actually liked and hoped would win. I want the same feeling for my first general election vote. I'm not going to vote for someone who I don't want to see in office. If that's selfish, then I guess I'm selfish.

Well, yes, but that's not why I support Trump.

I support Trump because of his opposition to trade deals and his support for tariffs. The biggest economy in the world swinging to protectionism is bound to cause other economies that I actually care about to do the same thing.

And also because Hillary is a war hawk who is bound to send troops into Syria; and where America goes, Britain follows. At least whilst Trump is busy fucking over Americans; he isn't busy fucking over Britons and Syrians. ;)

Dearest Bo Sox..I like your comments about Politicians wanting to have an informed debate about policy issues so voters can make wise, informed decisions... How many citizens actually take the Democratic process that seriously ? For starters there's all those citizens who don't even get off the couch and go out and vote, then add all those voters who are locked into supporting one party or another regardless of the issues and what would be best policy...etc etc...maybe it's demand driving the product being delivered.

I'm fine voting Johnson. I hate both other choices enough that I think justifies it :)

Nate Silver is a joke. He said there was an almost zero percent change Trump was going to win. If you look at RCP a lot of the polls for Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania are close and some have Trump leading. I'm throwing my support behind the Republicans and will vote for Trump in VA.
