I might entertain not allowing the doc to self-save, I tend to prefer allowing the self-save for balance reasons but I'm not sworn to it.

The roleblock is going to stay factional though. It's typically (read: always, almost) a specific role, yes, but given the expected existence of a cop and doc, I think it's a necessity to make the roleblock factional rather than individual.

Balance depends more on the # of mafia compared to the town then on the doc self-save.

That said, on the doctor, I've seen it played with the cop investigating the doc will get a guilty read on him, while others play it where the cop investigating the doc will get an inno read on him. Which variant are we doing?

That probably depends how bastard PE wants to be. The cop might have a sanity which can be an interesting twist.

If I don't get us to an odd number by 4:30 PM CST, I'm just going to add a serial killer role and call it a setup.

Look for a post around 5 PM CST with a more detailed description of the rules and setup; it'll be the OP of the thread we're going to use for the game. I'll PM everyone their roles shortly after posting the thread, and at 7 PM CST the game will start.

(For the record, the serial killer is a 3rd party role with its own win condition: be the last player alive. It has a nightkill and turns up the same result as town ("not mafia") on the cop's scan.)

Ie if the last 2 people alive are 1 mafia and 1 killer, do they both win, or does nobody win.
