I had no idea the mafia was so worried about me. Thats hilarious. I played horribly.

Well, it was a rocky game, but we won! I think that's the first time I've lived to the end of a game, actually. I'm surprised mafia bought into me being cop so hard. Good game all. Who's GMing next one?

As a side note, I've been working on a side project where we'll have a site where you can search through the game thread by person, day, etc. It probably won't be done for the next game, but if anyone has any input just let me know.

As soon as I got NK'd & saved I was fairly sure I could survive for a long time, so I started switching to investigating my townreads to go for the exact autowin that occurred. I didn't read Sam as TP at all; I was quite sure it was guak right up until I realised the TP was Angel and that the TP would thus have given zero tells whatsoever after D1. guak angel'ing OB N1 made no sense at all to me from his brief posts, which meant it had to be ND/Sam, or Yoyo/Vashta. And I only townread one of those...

I think the game was completely in the bag from the OB-save night onwards though. An invincible TI is ridiculously OP.

ND for town MVP. I reread the thread a couple times to make sure I liked his selections, but he's the one who made em.

On a sidenote: I really did not enjoy that weekend start. Monday starts are a lot better; given people have predictable activity windows during the week whereas at the weekend it tends to vary dramatically.

Also, starting on a holiday weekend was a really bad idea. I think we should avoid that in future.

Ultimately our role was about staying alive and staying concealed. I think you accomplished that perfectly.

Nah. Every time I reread you I just kept seeing you pushing that insane Me/Flum/y2k team. And as I didn't have a report on you, there was no reason to let you live. Plus, it amused me when you flipped town. A win all round! ;)

Was that any more insane than the ghug/Maniac/nobody team you had been pushing? Or the "ghug didn't interact with wj and I'm going to ignore when he did and that others interacted with him similar amounts" idea? Y'all were scummy as fuck. 'Cept y2k, he was just guilt by association.

Everyone pushed Bo for the same reasons there. At least it was a case, which was more than you ever actually managed...

And given my original team callout N1 was You, Maniac, Wjessop; I clearly was more successful there ;)

I made a huge-ass case on Jamie. I didn't really have time until day three, and then once I had it, I used it.

I scumread wj from the same point that you did, so you can't really argue that either.

You didn't even do a good job being cop. You didn't hit a single scum, which should be prioritized with a potential for false clears, and you were targeted by the mafia on the second night.

Moral of the story:
Always fake having a gun.

I wasn't aiming for scum by the end; hence why I copped obvious townies like Sam and Chaqa. I wanted to narrow the pool of potential scum down as much as possible so that it was either autowin (which it was; entirely thanks to me), or almost autowin if we had a godfather.

From the night I was saved onwards; I just played entirely based on the mathematics of the game. I knew I could survive N3 by making mafia fear an Angel, and N4 regardless. So I had a lot of reports to gather; and I just had to keep them alive and kill off everyone else.

As a result, I actually hit three scum as a cop - because I cleared every single other non-PR.

I'm starting to think that your theory of "if bo is stupid, he's town" holds up.

And HR, the game was effectively won you were Angeled. Your late game play is about as impress as soloing as Austria when you're Germany. The fact is that you tunneled recklessly on me while I was right, and if the game had been at all close, that's a mistake you would have regretted.

But it wasn't, and you're crying. Why...

I didn't tunnel on you. I pulled off of you, decided to go with your scumread on Fluminator and give you a good chance. Fluminator flipped town, so my read on you didn't improve; and when Vecna went for you the next day, I was quite happy to go with him.

It's quite hard to say you were right when you only got there via scumreading pretty much everybody, until it was just you and the scum left. Vecna, Me, y2k, Flum, Jamie, Bo, Chaqa... am I missing any other townies you tunnelled?

Had the game been close, perhaps I'd not have lynched you. Who knows. I was too busy making sure none of my reports or the FH (incidentally, the guy you made that big case on) got lynched to really care though. You were just something expendable because I had no report on you. And, as you correctly pointed out, the game was already won. I didn't have to do anything but let the unclears die one by one, and collect my winnings at the end.
