The Jeesh immediately began to connect the dots, sniffing out the entirety of the plot. They were, after all, brilliant military minds. One thing lead to another, and using the connections from Alai, Han Tzu, and Vlad, they managed to find a number of lower-level conspirators, all of which were arrested. One thing remained unclear - who was the identity of the fourth member? And where was Achilles de Flandres, the mastermind of the plot?
What the Jeesh didn't know was that the remaining member, in fact, was Achilles de Flandres. He was hiding amongst them, deliberately leading them astray. The Jeesh were clever enough to prepare for the last mafioso, keeping the most valuable townies in a secure room guarded by the remaining unclears. Achilles knew that killing anybody else would reveal his identity. So he remained silent.
Externally silent, but the plans to destroy what remained of the Jeesh were still there. Slowly, step by step, Achilles carried them out.
Until, one day, a member of the Jeesh noted with confusion a wire that did not belong. Looking closer, he realized what it meant. All remaining unclears were brought to a separate room for investigations. The Jeesh acted quickly and efficiently, and it was clear that the plot was foiled.
But he could still save his own life. VashtaNeurotic immediately took off and ran. He managed to make it to the entrance of the International Fleet base. He could see freedom in front of him as he turned the final corner standing between them.
Instead, there stood OB_GYN_KENOBI.
"W-what?" Vash stammered, taking a step back. OB was holding something.
"The loan of a knife," he said, and threw the blade as the wall behind Vash was splattered with blood.
