@Flum, if masons are two it's very unlikely they will be out making a visit together, unless they're complete idiots. In fact, I don't see why masons would ever send out more than a single one of them to make a conversion.

It's more important to lynch masons than cult leaders early because they multiply. If we are very lucky, we could lynch a mason today, and the other one could visit a Mafia tonight, and that would practically be the end of town, as then they cannot grow.

@xorxes, okay I'll grant that I am more scummy than a hypothetical person in the game who has demonstrated that he will trade his life to kill a mason. That person does not exist.

Also, let's please not provide advice to Cultists/Masons. Even if you think it's obvious.

I'm not going to tell you that I am or am not willing to trade my life to kill a Mason. A statement like that is meaningless. Anyone can make it without penalty, and everyone has incentive to say it.

My point is that noticing that I would like to survive is not a useful observation. You don't know whether I would give my life to kill a Mason and nothing I can say right now should affect your uncertainty on that point. Interest in survival and effort to survive is a characteristic that I expect every role to exhibit right now.

This was clarified in the sign-up thread. If two masons are still alive, and one of them votes for a target, and the other does not vote, then that target was chosen by 100% of the votes cast. Only the mason who voted will visit the target. The other mason stays at home.

(To abide by the "MUST ACT" rule, the Mason staying home would need to ##Vote and then ##Unvote)

At least that's what I understood from reading the rules, but if they are not obligated to vote then the 51% threshold doesn't really make that much sense, as there should only ever be one vote. Maybe the original intention was that they could not abstain, which would make more sense.
