Good game. Got a significant lead due to a mistake by Yonni, which I quickly pissed away somehow. Was sure I'd thrown the game, but Yonni then made a second fatal mistake. Overall, big mistakes by both of us. Having played Yonni before, I know he's much better than I am, so I'm quite happy and surprised by the outcome.

It was definitely a fun game, albeit really sloppy.

Good game. Your hyper aggressive play threw me off at first and caused me to mess up my opening. Ultimately though, you didn't properly support your Queen's assault and you allowed me to easily get behind her to your undefended king.

Who's been updating the chart? It's getting a bit behind.

Yeah, I actually felt like I was winning all the way up to when I lost :)
I play chess like an untrainer boxer. I just keep trading punches and hope for the best.

That said, it was the most entertaining game I have had in this tournament.

Fantastic game -- the most interesting I've had in this tournament, abge. I really thought you were on a tightrope for about 8 moves, and you made absolutely the perfect move each time, with substantial loss facing you otherwise.

I made a mistake and then a blunder, unfortunately, in quick succession, but all credit to you for putting me in a position where it was easy to, and for capitalizing. Would have loved to see how the game developed otherwise.

Good game, semck. We both gave up rooks for no reason, but luckily for me, I messed up first, so I had time to recover. When you started moving your queen at the end, I was worried you had something up your sleeve. It wouldn't have been the first time I'd thrown a game at the end missing something.

I was just going for a desperation draw with the queen. Had you reacted against the 3-move too early with 34 ... Kc8, I could have forced the draw. Yet one more time where you disappointed me.

(Actually, the draw would still not have been automatic, I see -- a miscalculation. There would at least have been some opportunity, though).

I lost to avi because of a timeout. The game lasted 2 moves but I think that it should count as a loss.

So we're currently in a situation where nobody is unbeaten, and 3 players have lost only a single game - rey, ffax, and myself. I lost to rey, ffax lost to me, rey and ffax haven't finished (started?).
