So, let me get this straight. Russia's attack on England doesn't really count as an attack because nothing was taken? Therefore the treaty technically hasn't come into play because I got lucky and had a support hold on a whim? And the fact that Russia has stated he's going after Germany doesn't change things either? What happened to "an attack on one is an attack on all"? Perhaps I am new to this world of diplomacy and don't understand the definition of "attack".

Russia has attacked you, yes, and I am bound to help defend you best I can.

Austria however, has not yet attacked anyone (in thier own territory) and I am as of yet unwilling to commit anattack on him, or Turkey, who doesn't seem necessarily hostile either.

It seems the Czar has now shown himself to be a liar. After explicitly stating that he would not attack Norway again, he has done just that.

To Germany. We will gladly help you obtain Sweden, but we must secure Norway first. We ask that you occupy the Swedes so that they may not support the Russians from St. Petersburg and we can land troops safely on the ground in Norway. We will then be in a much better position to aid you.
If you cannot aid us in this manner, then any support you can give for us to gain a solid foothold in Norway.

The British foreign policiy is not about gains, but about securing our borders. Once Her Majesty signs a treaty She holds to it and does not go about starting incursions because world politics gets boring. When She is bored, She harasses the King, attends bear-baiting matches, and plays small mammal golf (which I hate because I always end up cleaning the clubs. Have you ever tried to get dried blood and ferret hair off of a 9-iron?). In short, France has trusted the Crown and we will not abuse that trust.

We have talked about securing our borders. I have no plans for Moscow, but you have proven yourself not to be a trustworthy neighbor. I think the other leaders can look at the history and see which army attacked whom so your posturing as a victim is invalid from a logistical point of view.

Russia, might I say there are greater gains to be made from attacking austria? Or turkey for that matter (though I do not endorse this, since turkey has not threatened me). Also, notice the Austrian armies heading towards you. I hope they fit into your feeling of boredom.

So far none of my allies' territory has been taken; therefore I have no reason to begin offensive operations. Given the Austrian attack on Germany, however, I expect you're honor-bound to strike Austria, and I'm kinda in the way....

Im not sure what Austria is talking about, no aggressive intentions...thats why you attacked munich? I had every reason to defend myself against Russia (who you invited to attack me) I hardly think fighting on my soil counts as attacking the other country. I see it more as survival.

I would ask France If he Could spare an army to aid me, otherwise I will certainly lose Munich and more in the coming years.

I would call on both of my allies, France and England, to aid in any way they possibly could, or are willing to, so that I might live to see another day.

If you need our troops in Belgium to move southward to help you hold your front line we can aid in that way. Please let us know.

I would appreciate that. That would mean I have to retreat to Burgundy, which would require Frances permission. I hope that he would allow me to do so, as I mean only to secure my own nation and not jeopardize his.

I have a suggestion to our current problem in Norway. I will support you into SWEDEN. This way, Russia will take Norway, but you will not lose a center. Once in Sweden, you could support yourself into Norway. I think this will work, im tired, so please say if it doesnt.

I kindly ask that you support the Hold at Munich, as it will be necessary so that I can ward off my invaders. I have looked over my plan again, and I dont believe it would work. What may work though, and in time for you not to lose a unit, is if You were to support me into sweden, and from there I could support you into Norway without interference before the fall is up. Please respond and offer your suggestions.

Kudos to the Czar for finding a way to keep our forces occupied. That is the danger of these public correspondences.

Noble Kaiser, Her Majesty bids me to inform you that your plan seems risky, but acceptable. You shall have your support at Munich. The only question is of retreats. Would the Swedes be able to retreat to an unoccupied Norway and if so, would we have enough forces to rout them out?

The other concern, given what happened last move, is of a dodge or a fake by the Czar. We are studying the field maps and are trying to determine a way to cover all the bases.

My plan involves some risks, and if they be too much for you than we shall dismiss such plans. I suspect the Czar to move to Norway, as he found a way to best us at it everytime (my congradulations to him). if I take Sweden, as it cannot be supported, he will most likely support himself into Norway. I would suggest you move your fleet in North Sea to norway incase he does not take it with support. However, once I am in sweden I will be able to get you into norway if you also suppot your convoy. (at this point it would be 3 vs 2).

It seems to be that it is the only plan that can work given the orders, and your desire to keep Norway, and my desire to stop Russia
