Here's a Controversial Thread for You

So let's play a word game, shall we? It's a very simple game. I type a sentence, you post with your word or phrase that you think fits best. Aren't Mods great.....

...... on the Forum I used to look out for funny stuff the Players said for my entertainment, now the Mods have put themselves out there.
It's like in football people spend more time commenting on the referee than what happened in the match.

I played 15 games with my brother and ran afoul of the metagaming rules. To anyone who feels wronged in those games, I am sincerely sorry. I can assure you we never plotted to simply help each other out or single out another player. We made the moves we thought were best for our countries just like you would around a table with your friends. Obviously we won't be playing together in the future. I haven't played in months and have no plans to play in the immediate future, but I like poking around the forums and hanging out with you loveable louts (even you Krellin). So for what it's worth, I am truly sorry and it won't be an issue going forward. There was no multiaccounting, just an honest case of two guys trying to play a board game they enjoy despite living several hours away from each other.

Thank you. Hopefully this clears up that multiaccounting BS. Is it convenient that he posted this right after two accusations? Well yes, but it is because I asked him for a hand since I was being called out for something I didn't do.

I think the only way he would believe me is if Chris and I showed up at his doorstep with laptops logged into diplomacy. YOU USED WORDS LIKE "IN THE MOD'S OPINION" instead of just saying you were wrong. Apologize without making excuses. Admit that you see now how you two had an unfair advantage and stop comparing it to F2F where *everyone* knows everyone else, not just two players. *That* is manning up and admitting you fucked up. This "in the mods opinion" and "I didn't think it was wrtong" while still not saying "it was wrong and I see that now" is fucking lame.

We shouldn't have done what we did. We changed the outcome of some games while playing together. It sucks for those 15 games and the people that were affected by our cheating. If I could go back and not cheat I would.

Can Russia Spawn Two Fleets in St. Petersburg at the same time on each coast?

So I was playing as russia and during the build phase it allowed me to build two units in St. Petersburg, one fleet on the north coast and one fleet on the south coast. It allowed me to press "ready" but I didn't because I wasn't sure if it would cancel my build or something. can someone please shed some light on this? Thanks!

This is known as metagaming and is against the rules because it gives an unfair advantage to those involved. If you are worried that you can't stab someone because you want to stay friends, then that's fair enough but you can't join a game with them.”
