The fact that I posted an article critical of the ANC regime was sufficient indication of my view on the affair and a more explicit stance could wait. And it can still wait. I don't think criticizing the ANC is controversial. From their AIDS policies to their recent treatment of the miners, there's a lot for them to be embarrassed about.

I think the ANC is one of the worst regimes you could wish for after the abolishment of apartheid. Racially polarized, sexist, anti-homosexual and corrupt are words I would use to describe it. Denying the existence of AIDS and its consequences, and in some cases attributing it to "black magic" is absolutely ridiculous in a country that is so severely suffering from this disease. Also, in a continent suffering from overpopulation, the President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, thought it would be a good idea to have six wives, and twenty children (that he acknowledged, that is).

The South African government tramples upon the principles of freedom, democracy and equality, on which it was founded. It doesn't know jack shit about how to properly and orderly govern a country.
