when are we starting these games?

Because gunboats require less time I am considering changing the set up of this SoW. Instead of 1 game each student would play 2 games starting a week apart. The second game would have the same TA/student matchup.

They will start once I can convince enough good gunboat players that this is a good use of their time. Feel free to help out with that :)

If they want more players involved in gunboats that know how to stalemate and know that while you can't talk, you don't necessarily have to attack everyone at the same time, and understand that gunboats still take thought, it's a good use of their time...

how about phase lengths? I was thinking 2-3 so there's adequate time for communication.

I posted in the other thread, but I want to throw my hat in here as well. Im not sure if Im in the target area for students, as I think Im solid, but I dont consider myself good enough to tutor other and still have much to learn...especially that killer instinct it takes to solo regularly.
