He may be on vacation now, but it's not far-fetched to think that they reviewed games from before he went on vacation to determine he was cheating.

I was Sandgoose's sitter while he is on holidays. He'd paused almost all his games before he left and there was one in which he (and me on his behalf) was actively participating in.

I've obviously asked the mods whether his ban had anything to do with the fact that suddenly his account was being accessed from the same computer as my account was, but that appears not to be the case.

I have asked some information about this ban, and I'm hoping the mods divulge some details in this thread. He seemed a really nice guy, I found him very funny in a bizarre way. I guess I speak for more players, so I'd personally be sad to see him go.

If redhouse liked him, he must have been a bastard.

It's of course the mods' prerogative to reveal/not reveal whatever they wish, but I'm with redhouse - Sandgoose was pretty active in the community, would be nice to know what happened.

Since when do players get banned for cheating? In the good old days, only the multi got banned. Active members of the community shouldnt get banned for cheating. This has the potential to wreck a whole bunch of games.
