It's not a kiddie site. I personally don't use foul language much, but others do have the right to and it can be appropriate or funny at times.
So if you don't want your kids to see it, like I wouldn't for mine, then don't read it when/where they can see it.

I swear a lot, and I feel strange not swearing, like I'm censoring myself. Swearing is not a big deal in Swedish, my native language, they do it freely on TV etc, and my mother could make a ship captain blush. I applied this to English to a certain degree, but then I moved to Ireland for a while and shit got fucked up. I became fluent in one of the most foul-mouthed parts of the English-speaking world, so I'm used to saying fuck in at least half of my sentences. I just try not to use the c-word around Americans.

Just remember what I make my students write FIVE TIMES every time they slip up:
"Naughty, naughty words are for naughty, naughty children." At this point, the students revel in catching each other, and they chant it at whoever the offender may be. It does cut down on the profanity. Of course, that would mean I'd have to buy Thucyclides a special notebook....

This is actually something I care about, by the way. Languages are beautiful, and every time a word is formed, every time language changes, it's an act of creation. This goes for the word fucktard too. Censoring language is absurd to me. Words themselves have no negative or positive consequences unless we ascribe it to them. I can say "You're so fucking stupid" or "You're so fucking beautiful". Completely different intentions, has nothing to do with the word. It's also depressing that so many negatively viewed words in English have to do with sex, and it reinforces a negative attitude towards sex.

And sadly, they renamed the Honda Fitta when it came to the Nordic countries. Honda Jazz :(
