Of course i am ready.....Putin, Santa (muted), others will clal me racist for asking African Americans if they need Putin, Santa, etc. to make it in life. Me....in staffing....I've NEVER met any "minority" that claimed to need a white guy to help him. But I've been told over and over that NO black man can make it in this world without whitey's help by any number of leftist/socialist/communists.....

So I'm looking for, at the very least, anecdotes...

Krellin, I don't know enough about you to know whether or not you are a racist, so I automatically assume that you are not. That being said there will always be some misconceptions about someone who is against welfare and economically conservative being racist. Its a misconception that is faced every day.

Yup....it was a post taling about reverse racism. I parked my vehicle on the streets of Detroit with about 35 guys outside on lunch. I went in to a business for about 10 minutes to figure out my job...when I came out, my vehicle had been broken in to, and about 35 guys all said they saw nothing. My claim...Detroit is a cesspool. My claim...racism is ALIVE AND WELL in Detroit.

You see....I've had *multiple* experiences of black-on-white racism...I thin it's horrible...because it's NOT how I live MY life. But to deny that there is racism in black communities is absurd. And yes....there is white racism, too...

Baloney. You can buy a used computer on ebay or craigslist for $100. That's less than the wages of two 8-hour shifts at minimum wage. Or at least it would be, if the government wasn't taking 15-20% in various income taxes from the working poor.

And your post makes me remember a funny thing. The last nine to five job I had, the $100+ million/year corporation I worked for was run by and largely owned by an African-American. He had plenty of money for computers and lots of free time. But he still got preferential treatment on various contracts and loans on account of his skin color thanks to the SBA - benefits I was ineligible for as a struggling (and eventually failed) small business owner because I had the misfortune of being white.
