I think we are going to see a lot more brinkmanship similar to what we saw about a year ago with the shelling of that island...and there is probably going to be an internal power struggle similar to the one Kim Jong-Il went through after his father died in 1994.

After all, the idea of a leader giving his life for his cult followers has worked wonders in the past...there's one, specific example in the West, in particular, that's been effective over the years...

So the question is, who do we laugh at now? It's all a bit depressing really. George W has retired, that loony from alaska isnt running, the muppet with the hair ditto, Kim is dead, Saddam is dead...there has to be one mad character running amok somewhere... I'd say Vlad Putin is up there, but he's not really funny, he's downright frightening...

Unfortunately all this means is a new round of suffering for the North Korean people. I wonder how long it will be till there's some kind of coup or other form of instability.

And speaking of Putin, I wonder how long it will be before Putin33 starts posting a eulogy for Comrade Kim here. He supports North Korea. Never forget that.

Putin will have something interesting to say I am sure. But it is usually quite well thought out, even if not most people's way of thinking.

It's a communist monarchy.

It should be intersting, apparently the son isn't as bad as his dad. So perhaps there will be change for the better. You know like what happened in Syria. When the leader took over his dad he was a lot more liberal. However it didn't work out to well in the end though. :/

I love North Korea. Nice and quiet. Think we should all go there to take a break from it all.
