Damn, I typed up something real pretty in Word, and it crashed, here's the short version:
Rules:
1. There will be an emphasis on playing cut-throat *in the end game*, so people that tend to think a WTA two-way is nearly impossible, that's the sort of vibe we want in this game.
2. No talking about who is who in the game, no typing "MadMarx" for any reason, or "You Know Who" or "He Who Must Not Be Named" or "HWMNBN", etc., etc.!! ;-)
I'm hosting this game with Balaran, he's relatively new to this site (but not to diplomacy) and is looking for a "quality" game. Top Five GR that are interested are in, and suppose we'll use October or November GR, so your actual GR score will be the tie-breaker if we happen to get something like the #25 from both October and November trying to qualify for the final spot.
