I'm withdrawing myself from this tournament for reasons concerned with current investigations into certain accounts.

@Diplomat, that is the concerning part! Had you organized this after being found out and working out something with the mods that would have been a little better, but you actually broke the site rules in the middle of setting up and running a tournament. I doubt anyone here is going to want to associate themselves with that, or trust you enough to run the tournament fairly.

Actually, someone else could easily take over. Considering your lack of moral fiber when it comes to this site, I would question how you could be expected to run it without throwing it to your favorite person somehow.

You can't make the kind of claims you made, asking to be promoted to mod status here after but a few weeks of playing, and engaging in activities that clearly and explicitly violate the rules of the site. Well, you can, but not without losing all credibility and respect from the other players. So that's why I suggest that you do not wait the mods' decision and that you write yourself out of this site. Apologies to the community would be great, but merely stating that the site and you seem to have different values and that, therefore, you've come to see it would be best if you parted ways with the rest of this community should suffice.

I agree with the sites values, i was just playing a joke, not really cheating to gain points.

Can't we just let the moderators deal with Dip33? He seems at least to be less bad than the multis I encountered in my live game who weren't doing it for fun but seriously screwing up the game.

@D33 - The mods have granted us, the forum members, the right to pass judgement when they declared the forum to be self-moderating. So we have decided you are not of the moral fiber to be part of this community. As far as anon games - don't expect to get invited to any passworded games, anon or not. It just isn't gpoing to happen.

You read the rules after getting meta smacked. Right? What part of only 1 account per person did you not understand? It didn't say per person per game. It said per person. Period. Is the state of our educational system such that simple English eludes you?

I got involved in this because I absolutely love the "honour rule" that is endorsed by almost every player of quality to be found on this site. Given Dip33's repeated request that he be made a mod, I take it he also yearned for the status of a "quality player" on this site. Now, given that his actions show little respect for the community's rules, I have to think that this person has but little honour and that, therefore, he has already excused himself from the company of "quality players".
My suggestion was merely meant to help him save what little dignity he has left in the eyes of this community (save Draugnar!) by apologizing and stepping out of his own free will.

I'm just trying to shame him a bit. If the mods let him stay, I may play him again. So far we are 1 and 1 against each other (with the second game still ongoing but me more or less eliminated in it). Both times him as Russia and me as turkey. :-)

So, D33, if the mods let you stay, I will play you again assuming you want to play non-anon. And, unlike you, I never meta, so you can count on my decision to ally or attack to be based on ingame circumstances.
