I'm wondering who the kid will list. If it is anyone current who hasn't been around since at least the 80s I'll laugh my ass off.

This will be a competition between 36 bands. There will be group A, with 16 bands, group B, with 16 bands and four write-in. To start, the 4 write in-s plus group B will do a plus minus face-off with 1 point each, and then the top 4 will do a 10-point each plus minus competition with Group A, and the top four there shall be the Mt Rushmore of Music.

And if !he Beatles and Stones don't make the Rushmore I will officially declare the tastes of men utterly lost, those two band are in such a league of their own the only real question is which of them is greater; I'd say for duration and performance history the Stones and for just sheer impact and number of sings even someone like I, an opera lover with hardly any interest in popular bands, know and love for their meaning and complexity...I'd likely say the Beatles are the best of all time, I just can't go against that, and somehow if it DOES come down to Beatles/Stones for the top spot (as I think it should) I can't see Keith Richards or Mick Jagger displacing John Lennon, arguably the greatest single musician of the last century...
