Baby needs urgent help
So in Kid Cudi's song "Soundtrack to my life", there's a short guitar/piano riff which I'm pretty sure is originally from another song. Here's a link to Kid Cudi's song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-XW-fCoGE8

At 52 seconds, the riff starts (it's the high pitch riff). I can't remember which song that riff is originally in and it's killing me to the point that it's adversely affecting my work and my performance in live wta gunboats.

Wasr Is Not A Game (But When It Was... How Did You Like Playing It?)
Let's be honest: nearly all boys love to play war at some time in their life. REAL war is no game, but... again, to be honest, playground wars ARE one fun game! ;) So... what'd you guys play? "Cowboys and Indians?" "American Revolution?" "World Wars?" With what? How? War might bee hell, I'm sure it is... but when you're ten years old and with buddies on the playground, it can be an awesome afternoon (with exercise... and no blood, gore, and video game gut!) ;)

I'm hoping it doesn't turn into that. But what do you think, a doctor is now allowed to legally withhold information from you to influence your decision?

The world cup is still a couple months away but I think its not to early to start the arguing. Voice your picks and give reasoning.

My picks are France as my favorite and Serbia as my surprise. France is a team with players in form such as Malouda, Ribery, and Lloris, who I think have the best shot to win it all come summer. Serbia has been playing very well in the qualifiers with a strong lineup with an assortment of a few big club players. While they did win their group, they are currently in 15th in the world rankings and arent given much of a shot of winning it all even though I think they are capable.

Argentina to win and England and Slovakia for surprise. I agree with DJ, France doesn't deserve the spot. Ireland all the way!

Spain. Their BACKUP goalkeeper is one of the 5 best in the world. Torres and David Villa up front. Xabi Alonso in the middle - hell, Fabregas is a BACKUP on this team.

It should be Spain v. Argentina, but Maradona has done nothing for his team.

Germany won't go anywhere without a goalkeeper. Lehman is an nutcase, and the suicide of their #1 keeper doomed them.

England's injuries are going to doom them. Zamora was just tapped to maybe break into the squad, now he's hurt.

My dark horse is Ivory Coast. They'll be playing with home field advantage, essentially. It appears Essien might be out, and if so forget Ghana. South Africa shouldn't even be in the competition, so forget them.

U.S.? They have a good chance to get out of the group stage. They might get lucky and get through one more round - Dempsey, Donovan, Beasley, Bradley are all looking good. And of course we have the deepest set of goalkeepers. Defense, however, is suspect, hopefully Onewu (sp?) will be back. But they won't get past the quarters this time.

I would love for spain or argentina to win, but i think brazil could take it. Spain is very good this year but anything can happen in the world cup like france getting in because they cheat :)

surprise champion portugal, or perhaps USA if they get lucky.

As a Dutchman I'm really hurt that nobody has even mentioned us. I don't think we'll win, but we're a dark horse for sure. Do I need to mention van Persie, Robben and Sneijder?
I'm hoping Spain will take it as they play the kind of football I enjoy watching.

Having in mind no European team has even won a major tournament held outside of Europe... and Argentina have Maradona as a manager... Brazil.

They'll also be the ones having least problems with the temperature/humidity in SA.

@ jbalcorn: "South Africa shouldn't even be in the competition, so forget them"

Erm, what? Why do you say South Africa should not be in the competition?

My pick is Spain to win, with Serbia my surprise contenders.

Heart says England to win, with Netherlands as my second choice

Head says Brazil, as Spain seem to be picking up injuries

Dark horses - Portugal and Australia

@ DJEcc24 and Captain_Jay : You are retarded : France deserves to be in South Africa, even without Henry's hand, France would be there because we beat Ireland 0-1 in their stadium. Plus to be honest do you really think Ireland is better then France : no way! I don't think we will win but shut up france hater.
-Henry didn't score with his hand.
-He referee didn't see it it is the game.
-Henry is better footballer than any Irish footballer by far
I expect Spain, Holland, Argentina or Brasil

Spain to win, Netherlands as surprise.
chamois (136 D)
23 Apr 10 UTC
Everybody seems to think that without Henry's hand Ireland will be qualified : Wrong!!
Remember : Ireland-France 0-1, France-Ireland 1-1
"-Henry didn't score with his hand.
-He referee didn't see it it is the game. "

Do these two contradict each other?
akilies (861 D)
23 Apr 10 UTC
you never know, but the thing that angers me is that he did cheat, Henry is one of the worlds greatest soccer players and him cheating like he did is a disgrace to soccer and to france. It isn't about would Ireland have gotten in or not it is that Henry cheated, and got away with it.

and it's obvious that cheating happens, but he should know better than to do that.

@chamois- Henry is on the decline and is not that good of a player to begin with, don't get me wrong he is quite good, but he is overrated and he has lost my respect.

oh nevermind, chamois said it wrong. my apologies
Huh Akilies? I was quote Chomois....

chamois (136 D)
23 Apr 10 UTC
@DingleberryJones : No because Henry controled the ball with his hand but didn't score, he passed the ball, then Gallas scored. As you, most people didn't watch the game and just speak about it to split on France because they are haters.

@akilies : most of best players in History scored at least one goal with the hand. (Messi, Maradonna etc...) Btw I know that Henry is old and not as good as he was at Highbury.
I didn't see the game, I don't hate France, and I don't like soccer. Just found your post confusing.

sticky posts
it has occurred to me that several threads in the forum keep coming up (ie: not posting accusations in the forum, email mods for questions). id like to see the mods sticky these kinds of forums to cut back on the recursiveness and give all the newbs some up front and relatively pertinent information.
