My ex hasnt contacted me
So its been since August that she got thrown in jail and totalled her car. My ex has my phone number and she just opts to no longer talk to me. In our last conversation she tells,me I am psycho but I am too good at expressing my emotions.

Being a Diplomat
I've finally hoarded enough points to achieve the elusive label of "Diplomat" on my profile again. For some reason though, I'm not really all that thrilled with the "upgrade" from the previous rank.

Since I am descended from the mighty Woden (unless my ancestors were fibbing) I put olden Pagan first with everything else in a tie for 4th (or should I say... Thorth... Hey yo!)

Catholicism all the way because it is the only one and true Church, and there is no hope for salvation outside it so there is no point of ranking the others.

Definition of religion according to dictionary.com

1. A set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

2. A specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects:

Atheism is close enough.

Wolfsbane, not even Eastern Orthodox or Protestant Christianity? RIP
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
27 Nov 16 UTC
By that religion, yes, Flum, it is, but one of the most common characteristics of a religion as people in general view it is a belief in a god or gods. If you're going to call atheism a religion, then a) keep capitalizing it, which I don't, and b) differentiate somehow from the general understanding of a "religion" and start calling any congregation of people that share a set of beliefs and values regarding their moral code a religion - Republicans, Democrats, Cubs fans, you name it.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
27 Nov 16 UTC
By that definition*
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))

Wolfsbane, having that kind of closedmindedness about the other ways of thinking in the world only makes you sound patriarchal and imperialistic. Different people have always, since long before Jesus Christ preached reformed Judaism and before the Catholic Church separated, had different sets of views and there is no reason to think that nobody outside of the last few thousand years have ever managed to achieve any sort of spiritual or literal salvation. Likewise, there is no reason to express that "there is no hope" for people who do not ascribe to your beliefs. According to your own beliefs and according to the Catholic Church, that is not up to you.

I'd say in order of religions I'd be interested in learning more about:
T1) Islam
T1) Satanism
2) Buddhism
3) Hinduism
4) Judaism
5) Wicca
6) Paganism
7) Christianity
8) Atheism
9) agnostic
CommanderByron (801 D(S))

And I mean actually learn. Like the history core beliefs and the various readings.

You might be underwhelmed with how boring satanism really is. They're basically just edgy atheists.
Fluminator (1500 D)
27 Nov 16 UTC
There are a few theistic satanists out there, but they're usually fringe.
Wicca are probably the closest you'll get to what satanism is usually thought as. (Even though both sides would probably deny to being the other)

Although Wicca stuff is weird and either not worth your time or a bad idea.

Antitheism, now that is at least a belief system. Atheism is the absence of belief, there is nothing unifying atheists, except in a world where being outside the norm makes you form your own group. And even then, the only thing they have in common is opposing the norm/state religion that they grew up with...
yassem (2533 D)
27 Nov 16 UTC
T1) Chaos
T2) Atheism
T3) Pantheism
... Huge gap
T4) Cargo cults
T5) Buddhism
T6) Confucianism
T7) All sort of pagan beliefs, Światowid for the win!
T8) Abrahamic religions
T9) Agnostic

I have no sufficient knowledge to assign tiers to Taoism, Hindu or many, many other religions omitted in this list, but I suppose most of them would go somewhere between 6-8.
yassem (2533 D)
27 Nov 16 UTC
And as for atheism - I am an atheist and I do think it is a belief system - we have just as much knowledge about the universe as any well-informed Christian or Muslim or a follower of any other religion for that matter, and we just choose to *believe* that there is no higher power behind all of that.

I want to get in this so bad but I know that I don't know enough to make a real list.

I am impressed that the responses so far aren't dunking too hard on Christianity. I figured it was a shoe-in to get ranked way further down than it's getting. I say this as a sympathetic nonbeliever, so a little biased but not that much.

Soloing without building fleets
I'm curious how often powers can solo without building an additional fleet. I'm also wondering which powers could accomplish this feat. From what I can think of, there are only two powers that could accomplish it, Austria and Russia.

Obama tried same thing as Trump and got blocked
Obama repeatedly tried to give tax breaks for companies that "insource' jobs to the U.S. from overseas while eliminating tax deductions for companies that move jobs abroad.

Trump to dump Pence after inauguration?
After appointing a Supreme Court justice and a big tax cut, Trump might be replaced by Pence (due to conflict of interest of biz dealings), but what if Trump replaced Pence with a Democrat first? Then Trump is immune from investigation because Pence is no longer there to replace him. Genius?
