Perhaps the single angriest argument I could think of starting,
Best way to brew coffee.

I think a stovetop percolator is the best and anyone who disagrees should be doomed to playing as Austria for the next 1000 games.

Is he a millennial? If so, then none, and he'll be considered a man just for sitting his ass on a street corner and sticking his hand out to be given "what he deserves" for fre-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e...

Yeah man, back in 1875, when Krellin was in college, tuition was $10. He had to spend his whole summer allowance to get a degree. You didn't see him out there begging for a handout!

The old American dream: Work hard, make your own way, be proud of what you accomplish on your own.

The new Whiner's Mantra: It isn't fair...the rich (i.e. those that pursued the Amiercan dream and cusseeded...) have stolen all the money from the poor and are rich (a total logical fallacy). I'm tired of being oppressed by capitalism! I demand more stuff for fr-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e....
.....which takes us to the new American Dream:
Sit on your ass, complain about the hard-working successful man, and demand free stuff from your government...which you fully acknowledge (in your thinking) is a bought an paid for entity of the greedy rich...and has NEVER demonstrated an ability to lift ANYONE out of poverty...and thus the New American Dream is to become a SECOND-TIER poor slave to the government, which is a slave to the rich. So the modern millennial dream is to be the BOTTOM of the cesspool. Bravo! Well done!

And Putty-baby, it is ONLY as a DIRECT RESULT of the "fr-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e...." money from the government that tuition prices have sky-rocketed, you ignorant twat. Come on, boy...you're better than this, Mr. History.

i really can't resist getting involved in this discussion you are having with yourself krell --
do you believe there is an unlimited about of money and natural resources in the world, so that everyone has an equal chance to pull themself ahead into a sweet comfortable spot in life, regardless of how many resources or $$ are pooling in the pockets of a few? if you belive this is true, then your logic makes sense.....
however if resources are finite then you are just suggesting a darwinian economic fight to the death. only the ruthless, lucky, or best equipped will survive.
that just seems like a lame system.

Putin, why is a Darwinian fight to the death a bad thing. Helping the lazy survive will only allow them to live to breed and weaken our gene pool. I totally support what Krellin said.

Leon, that entire argument breaks down when you look at who has wealth -- increasingly it's people inheriting it from their parents. I, for one, am not super excited about a Donald Trump heavy gene pool.

If you work, you eat. If you don't, then you don't eat. It's a matter of fairness. The "top 1%" for the most part worked to get there, or at least their parents worked to get there. They should not be punished for that by high taxes that only serve to drive them out of the country.

That sort of sounds like Hitler... are you actually suggesting that Laissez Faire is a good thing?

When you start promoting such ideas you have to think of the extreme of what you are suggesting. You must also dislike labor unions, and minimum wage laws. Perhaps child labor laws are too cumbersome as well?

Paris Hilton I can certifiably say has not put in a hard day of work in her life. I can also promise you that unless you are talking about brilliant innovators like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, that actually most rich people just happened to have alot of money already and a smart idea. Has nothing to do with hard work, has to do with predisposition to an already skewed playing field.
leon1122 (190 D)
15 Feb 16 UTC
brainbomb, that is correct. I do support Laissez Faire and dislike labor unions and minimum wage. Children are not ready to work yet-- they need an education. I am not aware how this is related to Hitler. Most of Europe was operating under Laissez Faire at the time.

And if they have a smart idea that society likes, then supply and demand dictates that they will become rich. Innovation should be rewarded.

yeah but if i can get some kids to work in my factory for cheap, then i'll make more profit....which means i am a superior human being and deserve to be rich and fill the world with my spoiled progeny.

What is with the rivalry between Abbott and Turnbull? Is it really a geographical split within the Liberal Party between the influence of Sydney and Victoria? Or is it something ideological that I cannot discern? They both seem plenty rightwing to me.
