"I like football (soccer) the most. Nothing can be compared to the feeling when you are watching the game at nigh that ends 1-0 for you team, and your girlfriend father was supporting the other side :)"
Nah, the best feeling in sport is watching the final minute of a football game where the Patriots are down by 4 and seeing Tom Brady work his magic.
The second best feeling in sport is witnessing a 2 goal 3rd period comeback by the Leafs or the Wings in Hockey.
The only thing I have recently seen that compares to those the excitement of those two was the 1st test match of the ashes this year, where England won by something like 14 runs. Holy shit that 5th day. It was the first cricket match I had seen in a few years, and the only reason I watched that game was because I happened to be in England at the time, and as Octavious can testify too, the Ashes is a big deal for England. When I was young Cricket was my favourite sport, but when we moved to Canada in 2004, my passion for Cricket started to fade, but I've been a fan of cricket again partially because of how great that game was.
"Basketball is, without exaggeration, the best spectator sport. Blowouts are rare, there are no long periods where nothing happens, its fast paced, and it allows for much more frequent displays of athleticism than even in soccer or football."
I disagree, the problem is too much happens to the extent that happening is insignificant.
@Octavious: I don't know, I only really watch the NBA finals, where I always cheer for the team from the west.
