The first thing I'll say is that the Cardinals should be in the playoffs and the Packers should be watching at home. The system in place now is pretty bad that the 49ers and Chiefs are wild cards. They need to take the six best teams. Erase divisions and play by conference.
Wild card:
(6) New Orleans over (3) Philadelphia
(5) San Francisco over (4) Green Bay
(3) Cincinnati over (6) San Diego
(4) Indianapolis over (5) KC
New Orleans has the defense to beat Philly, albeit barely. The next two are givens. Obi, you said that the Colts aren't the same without Reggie Wayne, but they beat the Chiefs two weeks ago without him 23-7 and the Colts have won 3 in a row by at least 16 behind *defense*. Last I checked, Reggie Wayne doesn't play defense. Other than that, they've proven they are great at beating the best teams.
Conference Semis:
(1) Denver over (4) Indianapolis
(2) New England over (3) Cincinnati
(1) Seattle over (6) New Orleans
(2) Carolina over (5) SF
The Colts won't beat Denver playing there, though I wish. Cincinnati can't play with New England, especially if Andy Dalton plays like he did yesterday. Drew Brees has been stifled by good defenses all year (just ask my fantasy team). Cam Newton, on the other hand, hasn't - he'll find a way to beat SF.
Conference Championships:
(3) New England over (1) Denver
(1) Seattle over (2) Carolina
It's quite unlikely that we'll get this far without upsets. However, New England's secondary, in theory, will be healthy, and they can beat the Broncos receivers. They may be the only team in the league that can do that with Seattle's depleted secondary. They aren't star studded, but they're really deep. Marshawn Lynch will get the Carolina D-Line tired and they won't have any pass rush in the fourth quarter. Russell Wilson takes advantage.
Super Bowl:
(1) Seattle over (3) New England
If Wilfork were playing in this game, New England would win.
