I chose to not look at this game initially as I was wary
about discussing a game in the forum whilst it is in progress.
I've just had a look at the game & scanned the archive maps.
I think Anlari played very well, particularly in first 20 moves, it's never easy when you get Italy & Anlari coped well with a series of "reverses"
so in addition to my previous comment, I'll add this, there is no requirement in the rules of WebDip that a player, or players must finish the game within a certain number of moves, so it is quite within the rules to, once having gained some degree of control of the game, to run the endgame to suit yourself. This game was no ingame messaging and it's unusual to see a single player adopt the strategy that Anlari chose in that type of game, it's something I would expect to see in a messaging game where an alliance, usually of two nations/players control the endgame to suit their purposes.
I agree with Jamie99uk, I can see nothing to indicate a breach of the rules by Anlari.
jmo's comment that "VB handled it poorly by breaking site rules and posting about it whilst the game was ongoing" is a clear indication that VB breached a rule of the game,
and given that, I think he's lucky to get out of the game with any points.
If anyone has a "right to feel dudded" in my view it's Anlari
my advice to VB, take the points you were lucky to get, & move quietly on to the next game & PLEASE REMEMBER, do not discuss live games in the forum
