I was aware of them (and praying like crazy that they’d break in a way that killed Byz, although with a 2-pt gap it could only tie), but you can’t really play around it too much… people are gonna vote where they vote.dargorygel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:27 pmYes we are. I was, unironically, walking back from the grocery store for most of EoD.dargorygel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:27 pmYes we are. I thoughtbof it earlier, and figured damo would come in. Then i didn't think of PR things. Stupid

I didn't either but also I figure people might trend towards being afk when they're not a PR? Or not scum being deliberately gone?dargorygel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:27 pmYes we are. I thoughtbof it earlier, and figured damo would come in. Then i didn't think of PR things. Stupid

Evidence against this point:
when I missed the deadline and got DK'd as cop in my previous game

I feel like you've specifically had the opposite viewpoint in a past game.

I'm curious why if you want to quit so much, you don't just withdraw and let the backup take your place.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:26 pmBecause I crave freedom from this gamepyxxy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:24 pmThen why the fuck did you ask us to kill you?BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:22 pm

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
With private voting mechanics that even the holder of the power might not know they have? You do what you can, but let’s say that pyxxy actually did land on Byz, and it nominally goes 7-6 damo, but oopsie, I’m actually the double voter and ghug is the no voter, none of us have peeked the tag, it flips to Byz instead. What were damo voters supposed to do about that?Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:29 pmPresident Eden wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:28 pmI was aware of them (and praying like crazy that they’d break in a way that killed Byz, although with a 2-pt gap it could only tie), but you can’t really play around it too much… people are gonna vote where they vote.dargorygel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:27 pm

Obviously “rally an oopsie-proof majority,” sure, but how does that translate into doing anything differently than what was done? I just don’t think it changes anything about the effort you should put into persuading people at EOD, just the consequences of that effort (or lack of it).

That is incredibly anti-town behavior unless you strongly believed that the top wagon was scum, which I didn't see any evidence of. Granted you didn't really push yourself as a wagon but still. Jesus.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:26 pmBecause I crave freedom from this gamepyxxy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:24 pmThen why the fuck did you ask us to kill you?BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:22 pm

Eden and Bona: I would like to preserve the integrity of the voting bloc as best we can going forward. Let's make them kill us before we solve this.

Feeling big sad that there's not a vig to shoot Sabi during the night, given deathbomb is a hinderance for town (imo) and we would all be better off with the nametag gone.

Anything within 2 had a potential for a tie. Voting for the losing wagon in the final moments increased the likelihood of it being within 2.dargorygel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:14 pmIt wouldna have been though. Or are youvsaying his math was wrong?

I wasn't being serious about voting me. I was just annoyed none of yall at that time were listening to me.
